I just wondered what other people experienced? I had my first daughter 3 years ago and I was showing at about 4 months or so. I am now 15 weeks pregnant with my new baby and im not really showing. It didnt really bother me at all until somebody mentioned that you are supposed to be bigger sooner with subsequent pregnancies as your stomach muscles are weakened. As I say it really didnt bother me as all the tests have been fine, baby was very active on the scan.....in fact we were in there nearly 35 minutes trying to get the measurments of the baby as he/she wouldnt keep still...., no major probs....just still have a bit of morning sickness and peeing all the bloody time.
I just wondered if anybody else has heard this "u should be showing by now as its the 2nd time" thing?
When did you start to show in 1st 2nd and other pregnancies?

I never showed until I was seven months gone with my first two, and didn't show until my ninth month with my last.
As Lady Day said, everyone's different, so just take it in your stride.
Congratulations by the way - another bnv baby....

Yes CONGRATULATIONS Bahamas Babebanana.gif
I didn't really show until about 6 months and that was only apparent to some people. Enjoy the light weight now ....this is really good news.

Hi Maat,
Im very well, thanks for remembering me!!
Yes, I am showing, got a nice, neat bump and the babyis very, veryactive so I am happy for that. Me and my fiance are now arguing about whether we want to find out what we are having. I really would like the surprise of knowing at the birth but he's so excited he wants to know at my scan which is 23rd May. We found out for our daughter and it was special but Im not bothered what I have as long as the baby is healthy and happy!
Will definately keep you updated.
Its funny, coz even though I've had a child already, it all seems so new again, last time I was quite well, this time its been quite rough with the sickness etc. But they do say that each pregnancy is different and never to expect the same.
Thanks.xx

I hear you on just wanting for a healthy baby. I hope your fiance agrees to wait. It's weird how it feels new again isn't it. I'm looking forward to hearing how you're doing. ...this should really be on the pregnancy let's discuss thread me thinks....
