I was putting my son to sleep for mid day nap, both me and him were tired, i do a 6 week full time study and part time work, so i am usually tired, but today i was exceptionally tired, as usually i get at least one nights sleep or one days sleep, through someone watching him for a couple hours in which i can rest but this week was i couldnt, as i was putting my son to sleep i feel a sleep on which was cue for him to run downstairs,
break all mummies eggs, go in the fridge and pour all the milk in a bowl (trying to make pancakes i assume) with the flour also which was left out from earlier.. syrup all over the floor, involving trashing the kitchen which i had only just cleaned teh night before... w

when i awoke about 7 minutes later to find my kitchen in such state no eggs left no milk, flour all gunged up from the milk, stepping in syrup i was fuming and sent him straight to bed, and broke into tears, cas i was too tired and stressed for this, as i have a lot of work to do with out the additional clear up,

now i can look and laugh, 10 minutes later and he is now sleeping -,

just wanted to get that off my chest as i had no one to call on a suday morning but i just wanted to know if you can share, some of your experiences when children get 'curious' or 'adventurus'

Hey specialle,

Sis no wonder you're feeling tired. You're doing alot right now. Are you able to get help with the little one for more than a few hours?

I get like this sometimes but these days there's so many things on my mind of what needs to be done next in the day that I don't have as much time to realize how much I am doing, if that makes sense. The other day though I was stressed bad. It's funny how after the melt down that you feel relief especially if the result is that it's not so bad or in your case he was sleeping.

The most recent adventure of my youngest son was emptying out all the tins one by one from the cupboard. I asked him to put them back and he did actually did it!

I hope things are better for you now although if you can, try and get more help with him just until you finish your course.

Let us know how you're getting on.

No i dont really get more than a few hours grace each week, so it gets very hard i dont have the family support that i would like or want or even need, cas they are all busy with their lives. but its ok i only have 3 months left of study, and i will then be a qualified nanny/childminder which i can then choose to or not go into futher health/social or education sudy.

I booked a 4 week holiday for next month, for me and my son, so i get a break cas i will be with family who have more time, and visit them and stiff and if i really like it may move there at the end of the year till my son is school age

Sounds like a good plan.
