I actually can't believe my eyes and ears! A recent UK news report both editorial and televised, stated that the GOVERNMENT has impending plans to TEACH primary school aged children the isms of homosexuality and more disturbingly, to teach them that homosexuality is acceptable, correct and a normal part of life and society!! There are also plans to publish picture story booksregarding homosexuality, to children as young as 3!! WTF? No offence to any gay or lesbians, but I personally do not believe homosexuality is natural nor do I agree with it. While I do support the stance 'each to their own' I do not wish for homosexualty to be pushed at me or more importantly my daughter. My daughter will not be bought up to believe it is ok, because I do not think it is. Do you not think it is up to us as individuals and as parents, what our children are taught, what they believe and how they perceive things? This is the government taking control to another level. What is our western world coming to?

To be frankI don't think any sexuality should be taught. Let the kids work things out for themselves.

On the other hand, the complete absence of the teaching of family values is interesting.

Teaching people about sex before relationships between people is somewhat messed up. And quite frankly social engineering with a purpose in mind.

The only way out of it is not to send your kids to school until they're 7 and do that home schooling thing. However that is probably classed as illegal or soon will be, since kids have to attend school.

I posed this question to my sister and her hubby who are Christians and are raising3 children andthey said that they would not allow their kids to be read/taught such things in school.


If i had kids i would not allow it either. Ifgrown people want to conduct themselves in such a manner that is not really my business but i wouldn't want my kids to be drip fed that it was fine. I am not campaigning for gay people to be bashed in this country but iwill never accept that it is fine.If i had kids and it was forced i really would consider up and rooting if i was not allow to withdraw them from those sessions.

The State is intruding in almost every aspect of our lives and we are sleep walking into it.

If the Nazi's did not all wear uniforms and did not go to war in 1939. What we would see is the genisis of what we have now.

State police everywhere, heavy taxation, survilence on every corner and total control, DNA collections and introduction of ID cards. The "Prevention of Terrorism Act" and orwellian term for "State Oppression of it's citizens.

The Government listens to lobbying or interest groups who circumvent democracy and have the ear of the Executive ,more than the once every 5 year ballot box.

We are silenced in an age of total Information techology. That is to say that in a Western Society that in the past used Christianity now "Democracy" as the standard bearer of "Civilisation" when in reality all the decisions on our welfare are taking place behing closed doors.

In other words, at a time when it is infinately possible for the mass of population to have an active imput into policy making through the development of information technology we are still using the ballot box.

The point is; a le Carte if the mass of the population were given the right through "Democracy" to decide on matters as the topic has raised such agenda's would not see the light of day.

Increasingly we are told the wonders of"Democracy" whenthereality we are living ina two ,atbest, three party state.

First of all the poster of this thread is using homosexuality as a scapegoat as usual, whenever a sexual matter arise that may question people's perception os sexuality, relationship and sex; homosexuality is used to shut their mind of this subject because it may disturb their position; the government is not going to teach children homosexuality, it's going to start sex classes for children as young as 5;whether it's right that's debatable, no one in here can tell me when they were taught to be attracted to somebody or be aroused, sexuality is something you are born with,.

Is this strictly limited to information about homosexuality being taught in the schools? Because I see hiphop "artists" leading our boys into a sissy lifestyle and Black parents don't say anything about that?

All Black boys have to do is look at these rappers with their girl braids, HOMO-looking barbie earrings and see that this is where our young people are learning about this stuff. Black parents dress their sons like these sissies and let them listen to their music, which teaches the boy that the behaviors that the rapper exibits are perfectly acceptable. The boy emulates the rappers, ends up in jail, and all the prisoners throw a party on his booty the whole time he is there.

This nonsense is being forced on us. Its happening here in the US where they are approving Gay unions. There are 3 states that made it law including New Jersey, the state I reside in. This just goes to show you that alot of people that have power are also homosexuals and are making it law for it to be okay.

To me that is controlling taken to the higher level and gives credence to the perception of Britain as an all-seeing, all-controlling,police state/Dictatorship.

Nowmaybe youdon't listen to the news or read very well, look at the sky news or any news archives on line for the last month or twoand you will see that YES the government ARE actually planning to broach the subject of homosexuality with primary school children and YES there are a series of picture books being designed to reinforce this, I've read it and I've heard it on the News, and heard other debates regarding the subject,which is why I broached the subject here.

Sexuality may be something you're born with, but regardless I still do not wish for my young child to be directly exposed to, informed of and educated about something which I and my family do not agree with or support, that is my right as a parent and my choice as an adult and individual, and I'm sure the majority of the British public would agree.

To be honest there are more pressing things to be teaching our children in school. Homosexuality in my opinion is not one of them. The rate of teenage pregnancy in this country is a joke, and if statistics are to be believed a lot of those girls are African-Caribbean.

The government should be focusing on looking at the sex education curriculum and not start teaching it in schools when children are in the last year at school (15-16). By then its too late as some of them are already having sex. I believe you are born gay sameway you are born straight, why do we need to teach it??? Like someone said let people make up their own minds as to whether they like arthur or martha.... And not impose it on them.
