My question:

Is it ok to 'circumcise' these children to make them appear 'normal'?

Good question.

Unfortunately society dictates that people should appear "normal", and I'm not sure I could cope with the inevitable stares and whispered comments - but until I'm in that situation I'd hesitate to say yay or nay.
