Just recently Puffy hosted a sweet 16 party for his on off girlfriend kim porters 1st born Quincy. Now Quincy is not puffy's but he has assumed the position of fatherhood. Quincy real dad is alive Al B sure
when puffy talks about his kids he always incudes Quincy in the lineup and the title of the birthday party was called 'stuntin like my daddy' of which puffy paid for it whole hog and bought expensive gifts etc.

as bad as puffy is he seems to be about the kids..
are there many men out there who would raise another mans child or extol such a powerful influence that a kid would see that they have 2 dads.
i just wonder because i know for a fact that not many men would just spend money and time on a child that is not there own.
oh yeah does this have an effect on the biological father

naa screw that
if the childs daddy is alive then I aint buying the kid shit...and its mother would know better than to ask.
mind you saying that if I bucked up on the mom when the kids was only a few eeeks old then I may have different views..

Only the best is good enough....

nah, he was invited but declined to go from waht numerous reports said. puffy has been in quincy life the majority of the time he has been alive.
i do know one guy who met a lady with kids and those kids adore him call him daddy etc but know their real dad. by calling him daddy just shows a certain affection for them a certain respect

just come across this on media takeout
HEARTBREAKING STORY: Al B Sure Did Not Show Up At His SONS Birthday Party Because Of DIDDY BEEF - MediaTakeOut.com 2007
December 17, 2007. As we told you last week, MediaTakeOut.com was IN THE BUILDING at Kim Porter's son Quincy's STUNNA 16 Party. And we can report to you that Quincy's father, Al B Sure, did not attend the event.
After speaking to a number of people at the event, we found out why. Al B Sure initially agreed to attend the event, but he backed out at the last minute. Why, you ask. Al claimed that he felt "disrespected" by the event because of its original theme - "Stuntin' Like My Daddy." According to Al, he was Quincy's father - and Diddy, by allowing the event to be themed that way, was encroaching on his territory.
But that's not the end of the story. MediaTakeOut.com learned that last week, after being told that Al B Sure was upset with the theme that Quincy chose, Diddy changed the theme. He hoped that the new theme of the event, 'Quincy's Stunna 16 Party,' would get Al B Sure to change his mind, and come out to the event.
A person involved with the promotion tells MediaTakeOut.com, "[Diddy and Kim] spent millions of dollars making the event a Stuntin' Like My Daddy party. It wasn't easy to re-theme the party, but [Diddy] made sure that we did it."
And once the theme was officially changed, Diddy reached out personally to Al B Sure and asked him to attend. A person close to the Combs family told MediaTakeOut.com, "[Diddy] all but begged [Al B Sure] to come out to the event. He knew how much it would mean for Quincy to have his father there. But [Al] wouldn't budge."
According to family insider, Diddy's not the problem. The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "Diddy hasn't done anything to keep Quincy away from his father. In fact, he encourages their relationship." Our insider continued, "What is [Diddy] supposed to do. He loves Quincy as if he were his own son. ... You may be able to say a lot of bad things about [Diddy], but you can't say anything about the kind of father he is to those boys."
.................................>>
there is a nice pic of diddy christian and quincy aww so cute
if al b sure is concerned another man has taking his fatherhoodship away, why dont he just man up. you either be a father or you dont. if a next man loves your child like their own and spoils them with gifts fair dues but it shouldnt stop you being who you are to your own child....sounds ego to me.
as for puffy, he obviously loves quincy and chose to lavish gifts on him and give him things as if he were his own. he doesnt even call him kims son. he always says this is my son quincy. i dont see nothing wrong in that.

melissa i do see your point but come on
al b sure is not exactly a broke daddy
rev runs kids from his 1st marriage call their step mum justine mum
for me it all depends
but as the thread is about fatherhood
many men who get with women who have children couldnt care less about the children,. whereas puffy has taken it as a package deal
