You should check out www.junxion.co.uk and see if you can get your stuff published in the 'Word' channel there. It's a new website, but there are a lot of main players from the literary world backing it.

Good luck!

i wrote this about a year ago. my work usually disappears, but luckily ihad this one save on email................

good bye etheopia

good bye rwandagood bye mother nile

tonight i will dream of you........

good bye congo

good bye morocco

good bye ama zulu

i will sing a song to remember you...........

good bye ginni

good bye senegal

good bye west bank

maybe we'll meet again some day......................

hello plymouth rock

hello mississippi

good morning los angeles

where have you been all my life............

i walk through a cast iron gate; down the road and to right. i step onto the the curb into a patch of grass that spans as far as the i can see. scattered plaques of marble, and concrete blocks. statues, crosses, andan occasional tree. the air smells of fresh cut grass and flowers carried by the luke warm breeze. i sit indian style, and close my eyes. thoughts radiate from my soul. i call to them. i call tomy past to guide my present. i call to to my ancestors to speak to me. i ask them to show me the way. show methe path.show me the light of your essence, and i will surely follow it. i am lost............in a dream world and do not know how to find my way out. i am reminded of the sound of water roaringdown the L.A. river after a flash flood. i reminisceof the shrieking laughter of children flooding the streets just after two o'clock. the rumble of classic motors and trunks rattling from sub woofers.i envision swaying palm trees, commercial airplanes, and police helicopters. sirens, firetrucks, city buses, and congestedfreeways. green water and beaches covered in sea weed. a smoke stack pumping the sky with smoke from the oil refinery.a gentle breeze from the ocean, mixing everything together and pushing los angeles into my lungs like a gravity bong. the sunkissing me on the foreheadas if he were my grandfather..............................and then i open my eyes to see life radiate from these scattered graves feeling as though therewas something i missed;trying to believe the voices that echo, "now". "now is all you have, nothing more and nothing less"."follow my voice and i will guide you............................................... .................... i stand to my feet, and turn to the sun. and once again the voice echoes,"now". "now is all you have, nothing more and nothing less"."follow me and i will guide you............................................... . overcome with thefear of what i do not know, my bodytremblesto think of what is to come. yet surely this place that i stand isthe only thing certain is life. and all that is in between this world and the next is my last breath. tasting, smelling, seeing, touching, and hearing more than what my mind can register; i am often overwhelmed with questions of what i do not understand. smoke fills my lungs to pacify my impatience...................................furth er, i become detached from the world i used to know. i followed that voice into a place that has no boundaries, no limits, and no laws.no time.............................................. . sustaining an existence that seems to have no age. the place that i havefor so long dreamed about. yet, for some strange reason, i still feel alone. is this how it's supposed to feel? sometimes i wish i could go back. back to the beginning, and start all over again.but deep inside, iknow thatthis "is" the beginning; the beginning"and" the end. so now what.............................................. ..........?

CREATION.

BURSTING THROUGH THE SEAMS

OF TIME,

SPILLING ONTO THE FLOOR.

LIBATION.

SATURATING THE GROUND

LIKE SPRING SHOWERS.

WE HONOR OUR PREDECESSORS

KINGS AND QUEENS,

TO FIELD HANDS,

TO SHARE CROPPERS,

TO REVOLUTIONARIES,

TO NOW..................

TO BE CONTINUED......................................... ..............................
