i dont know if you wrote that poem, but to the author i would say your grandaddy was a SURVIVOR in spite of everything HE WAS A SURVIVOR and his children and his children's children are all SURVIVORS, just my personal thoughts, you may or may not agree.

hi okay i see where you are coming from, but your interpretation of being a survivor isnt the same. Nice writing style i write poetry myself never posted on the forum though, oh and used the we are at war statement on another poem on here , im sure you may have seen it...
