Stolen lives,stolen legacies

Some where our history have not been told,

our manuscripts been stole,

some of them have been auction and sold,

stolen lives, stolen legacies, across the seven seas,

Africa isa wealth continent and vast,

rich in natural resources,

but we have been compartmentlized,

factionilized and divided into small sections,

so it is easy to divide and conquer,

we been divided by nomenclatures

jamaicans,barbadians,haitians,trinidadians,

when some where in time and space,

we all came from Africa, brought under shackles

and chains, our sacred rituals banned and deemed

and witchcrafts and canablism,

these are the remain of colonialism

under the christian crown and catholicism,

in kanada,

indigenous peoples being forced to go to residential

schools,

young indigenous peoples,specially girls being

raped by white pedophiles, hiding under their priesthood

people wouldnt speak out in fear of reprisal or being

misunderstood,

we have lost our culture, our history and we have also

lost our mind,

people have soon fogot the importance of african continent

towards human kind,

stolen lives and stolen legacy

across the oceans,

and all over sudden we are given,

onlya month to celebrate thousands years of history,

that doesnt make sense to me,

when we all talk the talk about being free,

divided and conquer kept us under control

arabs band under the same banner,

they dont say, iraquis, saudi arabians or kwaitians,

they all say"we are arabs"

only us black people, are fool enough

to name each other according to our nationality

we even have been divided by religion

islam by arabs and christianity by european settlers

we have to refuse to be part of this whole insanity.owerblkafro
