Couldn’t get better than this, your love is complex,
We make love, we never sex.
Your brown skin envelopes mine,
And we are the product of an intertwined mind.
You say what my heart thinks,
Love is bracelet, but we are the links.
My heart pumps to the rhythm of your name
And I lay wondering how I could say it differently again.
Your for me truly, wonderfully, you set me free creatively.
God has set upon me a gift clearly.
That’s love..

"I woman RASTA, Knowledge, wisdom and understanding through true love is what I and I live by. The body grows physically, yet the mind only retains and learns, from experiences and lessons learned"

Watching a movie, hand in hand
I cuddle with you
Gazing at the sky, sprinkled with stars
I think of you
Peering deeply into your gorgeous eyes
I adore you
Holding you close in the middle of a storm
I comfort you
The pain I feel when you're not by my side
I miss you
Lying alone in my bed at night
I dream of you
Thinking of meaning I have in my life
I picture you
Keeping you untangled from the madness in the world
I protect you
Standing by your side through good times and bad
I support you
Caressing your face and kissing your lips
I love you
Knowing you'll be there when I need you the most
You stay in my heart.

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love which alters when it alterations finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
Oh no! it is an ever-fixed mark, that looks on tempests and never shaken.
Its is the star to every wandering bark,
whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come,
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But it bears it out even to the edge of doom:
If this is error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever love.
Sonnets.....William Shakespear!

Come and live with me, and be my love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
That valleys, groves,hills and fields,
Woods, or steepy mountain yields.
And wewill sit upon the rocks,
Seeing the sheperds feed their flocks
By shallow rivers, to whose falls
Melodious birds sing madrigals.
And i will make thee beds of roses,
And a thousand fragrant posies,
A cap of flowers, and a kirtle,
Embroidered all with the leaves of myrtle.
A gown made of the finest wool
Which from our pretty lambs we pull,
Fair lined slipers for the cold,
With buckels of the purest gold.
A belt of straw andivy-buds,
With coral clasps and amber studs,
And if these may thee move,
Come live with me, and be my love!
The shepherd swains shall dance and sing
For thy delight each each May morning.
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then comelive with me, and be my love!
The passionate shepherd to his love.......Christopher Marlowe

Go on Mokie clp)
You Walked Lightly by Tracey Newson
You walked lightly into my life
Captivating and lovely to my mind,
At first, I never cared who you were
Now I don’t know who I am without you.
You kissed me
I felt my world change,
You held me
I heard my heart awaken,
You loved me
And my soul was born anew
You walked lightly into my life
Now my heart knows who you are
And with every breath
And every step I take down lonely roads,
Your hand is my staff
Your voice is my guide
Your strength my shelter
You’re passion my awakening.
You walked lightly into my life,
And all my pain
You took as your own,
And all my fears
You cast into the sea,
All my doubt
Lost in your eyes,
You walked lightly into my life
And no matter if you choose to stay or go,
My life is forever changed,
Just because you loved me
For a moment in time.
And because I choose
To love you
For the rest of mine.

You're my man, my mighty king,
And I'm the jewel in your crown,
You're the sun so hot and bright,
I'm your light-rays shining down,
You're the sky so vast and blue,
And I'm the white clouds in your chest,
I'm a river clean and pure,
Who in your ocean finds her rest,
You're the mountain huge and high,
I'm the valley green and wide,
You're the body firm and strong,
And I'm a rib bone on your side,
You're an eagle flying high,
I'm your feathers light and brown,
You're my man, my king of kings,
And I'm the jewel in your crown.
- Nima Akbari -
[line]
Our hearts beating together as one...
As we make love under the setting sun.
Our passion and heat like electricity...
Binding our souls...there's only you and me.
Loving you the way I do...
All my desire is only for you.
My body, mind, heart and soul
Begs for you to never let go.
A perfect feeling, a perfect time...
Laying next to you, no worries on my mind.
I've never felt such love as this...
As we share another perfect kiss.
My heart is open for you to see,
All the love and desire that burns in me.
A beautiful love that we share..
There is nothing that can compare.
Making perfect love with the one I adore..
Leaving us breathless and wanting more.
A beautiful feeling that's taking place.
Leaving no doubts..as me, you embrace.
Drifting away on our sea of love...
Watching the stars as they shine above.
This is where I'd love to stay...
Laying in your arms...in our perfect way.

Dimoke, thanks for that excellentpiece by Marlowe. One of my fave romantic poems though must be that sonnet by Shakespeare:
When, in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
Iall alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heavenwith my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possessed,
Desiring this man's art and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

LOVE IS...something you can't deny or try to hide
its always there - on the throne of your heart is where it resides
constantly in battle with the mind to do what's right
leading you to a crossroad where you can't decide
bringing your peace of mind to an unsettled divide...LOVE IS
Seek to understand, before you seek to be understood.

How i love thee? Let me count ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light;
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with alove i seemed to lose
With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears,of all my life!- and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
Elizabeth Barret Browning
