MicClub @ The Telegraph : Wednesday 29th June2005

Last Wednesdays of the month are back! After a slightly longer than normal break, MicClub returns to its original slot on Wednesday 29th June.

This months line-up sees some top quality musicians and performers so join us for a nice night of live entertainment. Check out the mini-mini bios below, or read the fill versions online http://www.micclub.co.uk/artists.php

Renewed:
The amazing musicians & singers of Renewed will be gracing the stage this month to showcase their widely acclaimed sound, vocals and harmony. The group are currently touring over London, and are sure to impress with their performance. Seeing is believing....

Ant1 Stone:
Having just released his album, Ant1 Stone is impressing many on the circuit. Many people will recognize him from his appearance in the channel 4 production where several participants together wrote short musicals for the Theatre. This singer/rapper will be touching down to add a little something extra to the MicClub Mix!

Deep Cobra: A popular face on the poetry circuit, constantly traveling up and down the country (and beyond). Expect to hear his thought provoking poetry that captures the experiences of his global travels. His latest book collection "Through Their Eyez" is available on amazon.com

FLOetic Lara:
An amazing live performance poet and singer. FLOetic has performed across the country and overseas including New York and Prague. She has not only gained acclaim as a great live singer, with a strong voice, but has also gained recognition as a soulful poet! Get ready for some soulful entertainment when FLO's about!

Jimmy Whispers: The energetic 'what you see is what you get' approach to rapping, makes Jimmy Whispers an easy to listen to artist. But with plenty of conscious thought behind much of his material, enjoy his relaxed but precise delivery.

Parker Jayne: A former winner at MTV Base Lounge, and recently stole the show at the Afro Hair & Beauty show. Parker Jayne continues to make strides in the industry, we look forward to her stylish & soulful vibe.

Unique: Unique is the kind of rapper that many try to be like - smooth. An easy to listen to flow packed with down-to-earth yet lifting content. A member of 35 Above he has done the pre grammy awards in the states at the Apollo Theatre and has only recently come back from a tour in Italy. Currently preparing to release his solo album, MicClub will be amongst the first to hear the freshest material.

Phaze:
A poet and freelance designer, Phaze brings his exciting delivery to the stage, a renowned performer with unique style and presence. He has performed at a long list of venues including:"the Route 343 Bus, At the National Tate Gallery, at The Albany Theatre in Deptford, Deal Real Records, the Glastonbury Music Festival, and at distinguished street corners across the world.."

Stone Circle: The awesome foursome (Manifest, MicConcise, Ti1 & 9Lives) return with material from their hot new forthcoming album. Stone Circle are ramping up for the summer so download some Stone Circle tracks and get ready for more…

As we do, its the usual mix at MicClub, with a few other surprises for you as well. Defiantly a show to catch if you haven't been down for a while. Till we catch up again, have a good week.. a
See you on the 29th..........(Wednesday)!

MicClub...For those who want to be heard, by those who want to hear!
