We've entered a new age

That questions our independence.

Sucked in by the television

We have no real existence.

Pretty packaged food

And McDonalds

Staple our diets.

A cessation of E chemicals

Will probably cause a riot.

Historic truths are unearthed

As lies and theoretical reason.

Though experimentation gave birth

To holocausts and colonialisation.

Cross-cultured societies

Pave paths of assimilation.

Forced to accept change

We have no real direction.

Forward thinking fears for the future

And technological revolution.

Planted warnings of destruction

Grow through terrorism and pollution.

Some African children have no clean water

But sip on Coca Cola.

Good-willed charity donators

Are helping to decay their molars.

American superiority was stumped

When Cuba refused to trade,

And yet they’re locking up innocents

Off the shore of Guantanamo Bay.

The young ones are susceptible,

They believe history is for the old

It’s a shame they can’t understand

This is where the media has it’s hold.
