SELF INFLICTED--The Video

Check out my video for my poem SELF INFLICTED which is about some of the issues in the African American Community by clicking the link below:

http://www.letstalkhonestly.com/page/page/3118263.htm

What happened to Black America
have we forgotten we have choice?
With all the things wrong in our community
Why have we lost our voice?

We know certain things ain't right
we ignore them, pretend they ain't there
We look to blame some one else
Even when we don't care

What happened to Black America
have we forgotten we have choice?
With all the things wrong in our community
Why have we lost our voice?

We let our boys kill each other
Staying out all night long
Out there gang bangin'
killing someone else son

What happened to Black America
have we forgotten we have choice?
With all the things wrong in our community
Why have we lost our voice?

Our little girls are having sex
They already know how to get money
Just find some older man
and be his honey.

What happened to Black America
have we forgotten we have choice?
With all the things wrong in our community
Why have we lost our voice?

We can blame America if we want
but America doesn't make our day to day decisions
America doesn't give us the drugs and guns
that send our children to prison

What happened to Black America
have we forgotten we have choice?
With all the things wrong in our community
Why have we lost our voice?

We could fix our problems
if we were all committed
because you see
most of our problems are SELF INFLICTED!!!!
