There was no-one in the room but him and I
We smiled at each other over the table
Laughing at the private thoughts that we shared with each other.
I felt lost in his eyes
deep-brown eyes, soft brown eyes

We talked about everything and nothing
about the world we had forgotten existed around us
He sipped his wine
and i was lost in his eyes
deep-brown eyes, soft brown eyes

Started to realise that alone we were not.
The heartbeat heard being the bassline of an old school classic song
The people moving slowly around us like dancing shadows lit by the moonlight
staring into my long time lovers eyes
deep-brown eyes, soft brown eyes.

Slow motion as we move to the door,
holding my hand, he lets me slide into the car
cold breeze blowing the hair from my face as we drive away.
closing my eyes
deep-brown eyes, soft brown eyes

The bassline followed me all the way home
It snuck deep into my heart and deeper into my loins
Aching, taking me out of control.
So I led him with my eyes
deep-brown eyes, Soft brown eyes

We ain\'t invincible
but Lord knows we are magnificent
and blessed
Check for the positive
