Are you sure you haven't got things in your house that you don't need that you could sell on eBay? I bet you could make lots of money just de-cluttering your home.

I bet you have clothes and shoes and bags you have never (or rarely) worn. I bet your kids have stuff that is in good condition that can be gotten rid of. What about those kitchen appliances, gadgets and exercise equipment you buy but never really use, like bread makers and stationary bikes and so on? Jewellery that doesn't have any sentimental value and you don't wear? Unwanted gifts you couldn't bear to throw away?

Take a look around, and I guarantee you see stuff in your house you can make extra money from. You could do this perhaps twice a year, to give things you have bought (but don't actually want) time to accumulate! lol

Finding ways to earn extra money really requires some imagination, and one should be confident about the outcome, in order to earn the income.

Sometimes this means getting involved in community activities, where people you know can give suggestions that fit your lifestyle and environment. Many community-based organizations not only need volunteers, but also need part-time paid help. But one secret of volunteering is that it helps you to meet influential people who can introduce you to others who may need what you have to offer.

Of course, home businesses are a proven way to earn money, which is an approach that I am taking on-line. A network marketing business makes sense for those who are genuinely interested in helping others, comfortable with meeting new people, determined to succeed, and interested in long-term income.

One more thing: people are drawn to your passion. If you are excited about what you do, then you will inspire others to help you along the way. Best wishes!!!

Mini cabbing!

I suggested this to a punk but alas this was already his primary source of income

Smile Do hair! - 20-07-07, 09:03 PM

[quote=Incognito;1426749]Mini cabbing! Too funny.

Can you do hair? Like make braids or something! Depending on how fast you are over the weekend you could make about £150 on three heads That would be a good money earner... I used to do this whilst studying, but for me hair is an old profession of mine, so I had a client base and all the equiptment. It was fun too, as it was like a little saturday social event. You could easily make up business cards and put them in your local hair shops... when dealing with strangers go to their house. I think hair is a real good soulution to making quick ready money.
Good luck.

In the situation you're in, a good question to ask might be what skills you have that people would be prepared to pay for. An obvious example would be hairdressing - I know plenty that work from home - if you're that good people won't mind coming to see you, and you won't be short of work.

If writing is your thing, you could find that local voluntary groups could use some help with getting the documents they need to complete - proposals, reports - and you could charge a small fee. Your local CVS (Council for Voluntary Service) might have an idea about whether there's a demand in your area for this kind of service. Again, you can do most of what you need to do in front of your PC at home.

All this presumes you don't want to spend money learning a skill that you might then seek to profit from - but that is also an alternative worth considering - speculate to accumulate and all that.

Just a few ideas.

Most of the things you see advertised in shop windows are to do with putting things in envelopes and sending them out. Very tedious and for not very much.

You know how scarce venues have become....can hardly get a place to open beyond midnight. Maybe hire out your gates for a blues dance or two....good money and you might even get an old school crub

Yes there is. It was brought here last year and is spreading fast around the world so this is the time to join.
There are meetings about Success University around London, Birmingham, Luton and other areas. We're at Wandsworth Southside shopping centre, London SW18 this week.

Look out for future venues on this site.

By the way what did you think of the audio and video presentations?

Craft work. Do a search for work from home craftwork on the net... there are also companies who are looking for people to work from home making phone calls. They pay your bills and all that.

Why not collect some data and start a (black) womens work from home group, plenty of women out there looking to work from home and look after the kids or earn a bit extra on the side and there are plenty of jobs out there they're just plagued by the crappy ones and can be hard to find. Parents used to do Amways .lol.

“There is no harder misfortune in all human history than when the powerful of the earth are not also the first men. Then everything becomes false and awry and monstrous. And when they are even the last men and more beast than man, then the value of rabble rises higher and higher and at last the rabble-virtue says: Behold, I alone am virtue.”- S.A.Israel
