In cities almost the world over, apartment complexes even senior citizen homes are being transformed into condos. In the process, many types of people are pushed out who cannot afford or unwilling to destabilize their apartments.
Is this a good thing for us?
Yuppies as they call people with money to literally burn in the US are benefitting from such. Government sponsored women with children are finding even their welfare monies cannot afford a 'decent' place in such a market hence their world or selections is shrinking to none.
I am reading even African cities are being ranked as expensive comparatively to western cities.

Over all the picture looks like we cannot afford a place to call home anymore.
Is the days of apartments coming down to a market-rate close?
