“There is no harder misfortune in all human history than when the powerful of the earth are not also the first men. Then everything becomes false and awry and monstrous. And when they are even the last men and more beast than man, then the value of rabble rises higher and higher and at last the rabble-virtue says: Behold, I alone am virtue.”- S.A.Israel
Ok... have you tried phoning a few hair salons? Could even pass through a college and ask the staff there, places like Tottenham and Enfield college have a lot of female students doing those types of courses.

please dont assume everyone is living in London especially dem places you mention
not all colleges do professional make-up courses though
Thought you were for some reason... you can check out colleges that do those types of courses in your area, quite a few of them do, if not there are independent schools that teach that type of thing as its surprisingly popular. If not you're bound to find someone in a hair salon whos done a course in cosmetics.

My good friends does make up for weddings etc and got into it as she got a job on MAC counter. You get to learn on the job and they paid for extra training and then she basically gets jobs through talking to women who go into the shop where she works. You friend could try getting a job at one of the higher end makeup counters. She will get trained and also a bucket load of free makeup to practice with!
