If I was him I'll be disappointed with the promotion.

Has he got a website or contact details?
What are his rates?
Does he only play in London?
How long has he been Djing? - Has he performed at any major events?

I would need at least that information before I consider booking him.

Hi Guys

I am in the process of setting up a myspace account for him.

To answer the questions raised above;

He has been a dj for 6 years in the UK plus whatever time he done in ja.

He is also managed by Gemi Magic's manager and plays on concious fm every Wednesday night between 9 - 11pm. (106.9)

He has played with and against most of the top dj's Bobo El Numero, Kalvin Francis, Long Pocket, Germaine Mafia Love, Crazy Heads, Trevor Sax, Chris Coldfinger, Gangsta Kid, Hitman and many more.

His rates vary depending on date of event, venue and occassion.

Got a few freinds in the business. In my opinion they are wasting their lives as big old 30+ year old man playing in clubs and parties to earn a living. The pay is crap and it gives them an excuse to live like young boys and sex nuff women. And these guys talk bollocks on the radio and have no discretion in the music they play.

Frankly Im fed up with it. DJ's are ten a penny man. Get a ****ing life.

.lol. What you're noticing B.T is that the industry has changed dramatically over the past few years, DJing isn't as much of a profession as it was 10 - 20 years ago everyone jumped up on it and club goers aren't even intrested in keeping the whole thing alive, most DJ's would get booed off stage in clubs for playign the crap they do but they don't everyone is dancing to MTV Base, may as well put on a Tv in a club and have everyone dance to it.

This guy got a radio show 9pm-11pm in the week and I guess he Dj's on the weekend.
Plenty of time to do a 9-5 and earn his real 'living'.

I think its a great job if you can combine the two especially if you love the music rather than the adulation.

Then of course if you know what you're doing you can scratch it up like me... wish I'd kept up with the beat juggling can't beat a good turntablist session cutting and scratching.

Yep.. cant disagree there.. when it becomes your only way of getting cash though its a poor mans game. I see plenty brothers cant defend no proper money to provide for their families or even move themselves along. Big old 15 years in the business and still scratching for a dime. Not good.
