Sopdet/Sirius Star System and Origin of the Ankh (as well as Christian Cross) -

Sopdet/Sirius Star System
- Perhaps the single most important aspect of ancient Nilotic culture.
- Nearly all Afrikan nations can trace their lineage back to the Nile Valley where its entire culture was constructed around the phenomenon of the Sopdet Star System.
- We’ve seen evidences of the Dogon nation of present-day Mali who were accurate sea travelers due to their intimate knowledge of the Sopdet star (also known as the Dog Star).
- The beginning of the ancient Egyptian year was marked by the heliacal rising of the Sopdet Star.
- Usually by the 3rd day after the heliacal rising of Sopdet, the Inundation (Flood) of the Nile occurred.
- Every 1,461 Egyptian years (or 1,460 Gregorian years) the heliacal rise of the Sopdet star is on July 20.
- The 1,461-year Sopdet cycle would have been impossible to observe without complete respect, reverence, and maintenance of ancestral lines by the strict traditionalist Afrikans.
- The actual length of a solar year is not 365 days, not even 365.25 days as for the extra day added in the Gregorian/Julian Calendar on leap years. A solar year is: 365.25636 days.
- The only reason this could be observed is because of the Afrikan’s observance of the Sopdet cycle which is a period of 1,461 Egyptian years.
- The Egyptian calendar had 12 months of 30 days each (3 weeks of 10 days) to total 360 days.
- 5.25636 days difference: 5 days added at end of year to celebrate Ausar, Auset, Set, Nebt-het, and Heru.
- 0.25636 day difference: 1 day added every 4 years.
- 0.00636 day difference: 1 day added every 157, 314, 471, and 629 year cycles.
- These arrangements were still made by native non-Islamic Egyptians until our present times [8].
- Considering this, the current Gregorian/Julian calendar in use is off by 1 full day every 3,000 years. Simply unacceptable by Afrikan standards.
- The Egyptian Calendar as of year 2003:
- Considering the agricultural life of Nile Valley Afrikans depended solely upon the inundation of the Nile, it reinforced a communal, and relatively peaceful, way of life for most Afrikans.
- Contributed to the necessity of engineering and mathematical precision garnered in land surveying, architecture, irrigation, and many other wonders of Nilotic culture.
- For example, at one point the Nile River didn’t flow into the Mediterranean. It was redirected by Pharaoh Narmer through still little known civil engineering techniques.
The Ankh (and origin of Christian Cross)
- We must understand three (3) astrological constellations to comprehend the cosmic significance of the ankh. The “3 Kings,” Sopdet, and the Southern Crux (or Cross).
- For 3 days on December 22, 23, and 24, the Sun is at its lowest point in the sky and appears to stay still in the center of the Southern Crux.
- This is the beginning of the Winter Solstice.
- In the Afrikan cosmology, it should be apparent that this is the parallel of how the Son/Sun of God "dies on the cross."
- On December 25 is the first day the Sun begins to move “up” in the sky, thereby putting the disk of the sun just above the lateral of the Southern Crux.
- December 25 was the day of rituals and festivals for the kings rejuvenation in ancient Egypt.
- It is obvious how the alleged birth of Jesus Christ was fabricated from here.
- The Southern Crux (or Cross) Constellation:
- What most do not realize is that every late night of December 24 and early morning of December 25, the "3 Kings" point directly to Sopdet (Sirius or East Star) in a straight line towards the exact location on the horizon where the Sun will rise.
- The “3 Kings” (in Orion’s belt) and Sopdet (Sirius) Constellation Map:
- When it is not too late in the morning, you can see the Sopdet Star next to the Sun on the horizon. This is why the traditional Christian dogma refers to both Jesus and Satan as "the Morning Star."
- How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! ~Isaiah 14:12
- "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star." ~Revelation 22:16
- Alignment of Sun, Southern Crux, Sopdet, and the “3 Kings” on December 25.
- At this point, we should see why ancient Afrikans made up the story of the "3 kings" followed the Sopdet (East) Star to find the "son of God."
- We must remember that the intention of these Afrikan folktales and myths was to bring people "one with God" and/or with the divine aspects of Nature.
- From this we can see that once the Sun moves above the lateral, it represents, resurrection, new life, and eternal life.
- ...or Christians term it "born again."
It is my sincere hope that this provides new insight and clarity as to the meaning and significance of the ankh...

To be always answering questions and mounting defenses about things you thought were obvious keeps you from doing your work.
