Correction... Sephardic Jews, are spanish but get my drift from Europe...
Askenazi Jews... look up this. This type of Jew presently occupy Israel, and are not the prototypical Jews.
Note Abraham the Father of the Hebrew Peoples, came from Mesopotamia, upper Sumeria.

Bismillaah Salaam, Justavoice. You wrote: >> Why do you think that in all four gospel accounts of Jesus, none of the disciples give a description of the appearance of Jesus ? <<
>> Me and you know that this could not be so. However what I am saying is do not play into the hands of this by then going away and painting your own picture of Jesus. <<
I can understand that people prefer to see those that matter mostto them, in their own image.
>>He told them, remember you saw no image, all you heard was a voice. <<
OK, but from which chapter and verse are you quoting?

Deuteronomy chpt 4 vs 15 - 20
This is but a portion of the scripture....
vs 12 - "And the LORD spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire. Ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice".
I'm not one for quoting too much scripture, as I find it can be over powering in conversation. What you get is people reciting scripture to cover their backs, without really having an understanding of what they have just written down. So excuse my way OriginalBM if I don't always back up my quotes with a verse. If you want to know where I get what I have said, please just ask as you have just done.
As for people wishing to make an image of something that resembles them self. God tells us make no image of anything, its why to this day, I don't even wear a cross about my neck, I have no fish symbol on my car. He knew what image he himself would come in and what things would be important concerning the image he came in.
The bible speaks of Jesus hands, of his feet, of his blood - but it never goes into the discussion of colour. In fact back then I believe colour was not the issue more than tribe or clan. Colour / racism is a Eurocentric thing, a white supremacist thing.
We could change the world, If God would give us the source code.

@truthharmonypeace
i would say your understanding is almost there.
yes jesus died for our sins. yes the spirit is important. thats why after he rose from the grave he sent to us the holy spirit. we do endure sufferinghs because man sin full stop. God has also given us a choice. there are many people who do not believe in God and many who simply do bad things this adds to pain and suffering. if unsure about anything turn to God for help.read abit from the other post -developing a relationship with God-
Think outside of the box...Think in spirit
Act as if it were impossible to fail!!!

thats why the bible should be read with an open heart and mind, i am told to pray for Gods understanding prior to reading. in church prayer is done throughout service before during and after scripture reading. so there is a way to the truth. as what most people forget is that with all holy books they will perish when Jesus returnsd but God's word will never die.

Bismillaah Salaam, All. In regard to my post on the the topic of 'The Revelation of [ST.] John' and 'The Gospel of [ST.] John' which I had posted as follows: >>
Much dependable information concerning the Soul/Self [Personal Lord] and the psychic form, knowledge originally taught by the Ancient Masters,of the Sacred Science can be found in the works of James Morgan Pryse. "The Apocalypse Unsealed" and "The Magical Message According To Ioannes" being two such complimentary and trustworthy books. Salaam. OriginalBM <<
To that I would like to add: I have always mentioned to those who wish to read these 'esoteric' books, that they should firstundertake a very serious study of The Holy Qur'aan, of THE GOD {Allaah,The Compassionate} so as not to become frustrated or confused with the material that is found in the works of James Morgan Pryse. I highly recommend his works [ seven, or eight books] to all of those whom are in touch with their soul ,or [aspire to]are desirous of, a working relationshipwiththeir soul. Salaam. OriginalBM

Well, with the afternoon off I thought I'd watch the Matinee.
There are few things that bring a tear to my eye, but Humility. And that is a quality that one sees rarely in Life let alone Films. So although I had heard of it this was the first time I had actually seen it.
Alan Bates: "Whitsle down the Wind"
Made in the early 1960's, when the New Wave of British Cinema was at it's Zenith for doc realistic drama. Alan Bates Whiltsle down the Wind challenges our core belief in God. Precis of the film.
A Young Girl living on a farm, wrapped up in Sunday School stories, bumps into a Bearded Man in ragged clothes in her Barn ( Note the location Christs first home) She asks him what his name is and He being badly wound only manges to say "Jesus Christ" then passes out.
Kathy takes his word to its literaral meaning and tells her youger brother and sister that Jesus is living in their Barn. The Children are determined not to let the Adults in on the Secret since the last time Jesus was on Earth it was they who Killed Him.
Unbeknown to them. "Jesus Christ" is Alan Blakely a Murder who is on the run from the Police and the Law ( see Romans and Pilate\Jews ). And thus the story evolves around the Childrens ( Us Adults) misplace love and affection in a Fantasy, that only Reality and Truth will expose, but the Childrens belief is very strong.
It is one of most moving films I have seen in a very long time highly reccommended especially for those that know thier bible like some of you guys to appreciate the subtles of the Film.

Bismillaah Salaam, Believe. I don't mind responding to your post at this time, but you know I had the impression that posters would try to respect the Peace of this board and not use street language. I will not however, be able to respondto future post if you (and others)will not desist from using that type language.
So as not to rehash all that I have said, please see my other posts on this R & S, board.
Firstly, Prophet Isa [Jesus, may the Blessings and Peace of The High Exalted, The Sovereign, be upon Him] is not Allaah {THE GOD}, The Almighty. He, is but a Prophet and the "Anointed" [Christ, Messiah] of Allaah, {THE GOD} Glory Be To HIM.
A diligent study of AL-Qur'aan, will teach you [THE GOD, Willing] whom THE GOD IS, and why HE, punishes and / or destroyssome, and places others in HIS, Garden of Paradise. I have also tried to cover much of this in my previous posts.
George W. Bush, is not controlling anything. THE GOD, is in control of ALL, George W. Bush included, as he is serving at the Will of THE GOD {Allaah} All Praise is due HIM, Alone.Furthermore, Allaah, The Compassionate, The Merciful, isNot [with] on the side of the aggressor.
I have noticed that many people still have a problem understanding that Prophet Isa, [PBUH] was birthed of a Virgin. But recall that Adam [PBUH] was birthed without either physical father or mother! Allaah, The Fashioner, The Guide To The Right Path, says of a thing "BE" and itIs (accomplished). I pray that I have enlightened you, and have offended, No one. Salaam. OriginalBM
PBUH: Peace and Blessings be upon Him.

Who do I think jesus is? I think jesus is one of the first truly free born humans on the planet. A man with a real map to the road of freedom, the road built by the creator that weare meant to be on and travel.

St John 3 v 16
For God so loved the world her sent his only begotton son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Yes Jesus was human, he come to preach the Gospel, to heal the sick and set people free. God chose Mary who gave birth to Jesus. He preached the gospel but the Jewish Priests thought he was blaspheming because he called himself the son of God that's why he was killed. God knew the events which were to take place and Jesus knew he would be killed that's why he had the last supper with his disciples, he knew Judas would betray him and that Peter who deny him.
He died for our sins, that is what I call love clp) he could have got angry, he could have even got violent but he bore it all for us. He rose again after 3 days and assended into heaven to be with his father. Thank you Jesus!!!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I have to side with the Muslims. Jesus ws only a prophet.Plus I heard that they didn't really kill Jesus that they had someone else die and that Jesus' death was a hoax.If someone knows more about this, please post. That is too interesting. As far as his race, the man was a jew,the real semitic ones, which means he may have had dark brown skin, dark hair and eyes, but he was NOT BLACK OR WHITE.
