Please can you tell me what Hymn you really like. For me, I don't know which one to choose, but I think there are some nice ones that really Stand out from the rest. I will break the rule by mentioning more than one

1) Amazing Grace( The Words are so Sweet)

2) Blessed Assurance

3)How Great thou Art

4) Great is thy Faithfulness

5) As the Deer pants

I have to stop now.

Question: what's the diff between hymns, spirituals, and gospel? Is it the type of music accompaniment? Hymns means more traditional?

i don't know how long ebody been listening to religious, but, I remember fifteen + years ago...there was a CLEAR distinction between God and Jesus. Now it seems that many of the songs use the two interchangeably. That's why I've cut back on my gospel music listening.

OK...that was a bit off topic, but it brought that to mind...

my favorite hymns: (but maybe they're more gospel songs...)..and my TITLES may be off...lollol

1) Eye is on the sparrow
2) I love you, I love you, I love you Lord Today
3) All I need
4) Walk Around Heaven
5) Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
6) That's Love (they hung Him high, they stretched Him wide...)

Hymn = a religous song of praise.

So as long asa song hasmusic/lyricswith obviousreligous themes, I guess it's all three.
