Salaam, I am not concerned with agruing the point. My only concern is that you READ and UNDERSTOOD my statement. How much credibility you give it is not my concern. You have been warned in fairness and out of Love.

The rest is up to you.

A wise woman once told me, "Make your words sweet, cause one day you might have to eat em."

@Seventh Angel. still here and waiting to leave. But it does not surprise me that you do not want to explore the above, but I will when I return as you have raised issues which you now down want me to interrogate and examine.

Funny how people especially who claim religious belief are quick to say or advise people not to judge. I fear no judgement personally man or god's for that matter. But I suppose if people were sleeping with under aged children, stealing their neighbours ox or selling crack cocaine we should not judge either? When Farrahkahn makes social comments or observations, some very apt and precise he should not be judging either I suppose.

As for your tootbrush example typical NOI. As one great European historian call C H Carr once said analogy is often a trap door for the unweary so you can use all the analogies you want. They don't actually addresss the precise and specific issues in question. As for Farrakhan's foreign policy well that is a joke and case study in inconsitstency and contradiction.

But much later.

@matsunuma..... no i said.... mesoptamian pictograph script which led to ancient cuniform is an ancestoral source of ancient egyptian heiroglyphics.... and dont you know that cush was a land of black people!!!.. but i think your ego is getting the better of you hear.... as i said on the other thread... you post info... without an argument or factual evidence.

@fredblack........ since you seem to understand the use of root meaning then i need not further explain why arabic was perfect for the revelation as i already have. as you seem to know that root languages are inherently african then i need to repeat myself of its decendance from hamitic-semitic language trees... and as i said...any nostratic origin has not been proven.

on the point of arabs.....as i said.... ISLAM is a religion for all mankind.... spreading rapidly in many countries worldwide....... it is not an arab religion.... and yes....many arabs are good muslims...... as are many people of many other nationalities..... whether born....converted..... or reverted.

you seem to have a problem with arabs... which is your perogative..... however... while you stand there with your gun cocked..... remember that it is a black man that will most probably, rob you, kill you, murder you son, rape your wife, steal from your business and put you on drugs while being on drugs himself. only a positive. correct basis for unity will stop this and NOI, christianity, black forums and the like have done nothing whereas every other culture and race with unity have prospered.... from the asians..to the chinese... to the indians..... to the europeans..... to the russians. whereas the blacks deny their history and culture with their pent up racism and igorance toward other races and ideas..... but as i said... this is your perogative....... read a QUR'AN and see if your mind opens as ISLAM is the saviour for ALL mankind and much of the "black man" has realised this.

Muslimah,

My opinion is in no way my attempt to disrespect who you are or what you represent. Far as I'm concerned I love Islam and their history. Though I've never cared that much for Louis Farakhan, I will respect his views. But this is my opinion about him.

As I read and hear more and more about him, some things really bother me about him and what he represents to the Black community. First of all Allah is not a bigot or separatist., but that is minor compared to why I'm not crazy about Farakhan. Not long ago I posted my opinion, only this was about books. The one I read and compared notes about the man, the more I realized how bad he is for us. First of all,as I've previuosly mentioned, I cannot support man, who is dillusional about slavery not existing In Southern Sudan. As a result some Southern Sudanese are resentful toward Farakhan about the issue and I cannot blame them. The bad thing about his denial of the slave issue is that it has been proven that it exist. Just look on the internet , ask some of the Southern Sudanese native and they will tell you about the Civil wars and slave trade that exist in their country. That was very foolish of Farakhan to deny it.

Secondly, I cannot take him seriously as a credible leader for the Black community. Yes, he had the Million March several years ago and recently the interview with Ja rule, but seems that he's more for show than progress of the Black community. Around the world there are some leaders who laugh as this guy because he is clueless their countries politics. Some people like, Nelson Mandela didn't laugh, but got angry with this man because he felt that he was being arrogant to the South African Black poor, with his flamboyancy.Even in the states, it bother's me to know that, he and his wife are living the lap of luxury in their home out in the Chicago suburbs, while many of the young men who supports him are out in the heat , cold selling his papers(I don't know how true this is, but I was told by one guy from Marylandthat if a certain amount of thoseFC paper are not sold, they get penalized in their wallets for it.If it is true that's a shame. Hmmm, that is funny because in that book that is what Vibert White said in his book as well. Wow! Maybe it could be true. I don't know)

Like I said I love Islam. Though Farakhan is the founder of NOI, I cannot support him or the organization. I cannot support a religion that is about Racism/separatism and I definately cannot support a man, who doesn't practice what he preaches. If I wanted to be a Muslim I want the real Islam--Sunni---Islam. I would want to be around people, whether they understand it or not, who goal is to better their live with Allah and who are unified no matter what racial/cultural background they come from. I may be a Christian, but it wasn't that long ago that I wanted to be a Muslim. From the little that I learned in the masjid, some of those guys don't agree with Farakhan's politics as well as they did in the past. They don't have a Black/White/ Arab Allah. They all have the same Allah and I see it the same way.

Of course Allah(God) is not a bigot, but, as a Christian, you cannot say God is not a SEPARATIST. Is not the God you serve the same God who SEPARATED the Israelites from the Egyptians (two different races)??? Did not Jehovah forbid his people from mixing with "foreigners"?? Is not the God of the Bible "the same yesterday, today and forever"?? Did not Jesus warn of a day when he would SEPARATE the "sheep" from the "goats"?? Did not Jesus say, according to the Bible, that he came to "bring division"..."to set the daughter against the mother, and to set the son against the father"?? Is that not SEPARATION? Does not Allah (God) warn of a day of Separation and Judgement in the Last Days? It's all right there in the Bible.
Quote:
Now show me where what the Hon. Louis Farrakhan is saying and teaching is not ALREADY written of God and His Prophets in the Bible.
Quote:
By the way, If Minister Farrakhan were a "bigot", would this photo be possible?

We all know that the Jews will not meet with someone they consider a "bigot". Not to mention the WHITE MUSLIMS in RUSSIA who LOVE Minister Farrakhan.

Have you been to the Sudan and seen it for yourself? If not, then you aregetting your information at least second-hand. What is going on in the Sudan is CIVIL WAR, and PRISONERS OF WAR...not "slaves"...are being taken on BOTH SIDES!! Butno one refers to those captured by the SouthernSudanese as "slaves", because that would thwart the aims of the West to"demonize"Islam. Here's a link you can read that gives a more OBJECTIVE view of the situation:ON SLAVERY IN SUDAN

According to the Bible, it "seemed" to Judas that Jesus could have done more to help the poor...at least that was the impression he gave. His root motivation, however, was ENVY. My point is, things are not always what they "seem".

Could you name some of these leaders for us? Did Minister Farrakhan ever claim to have a comprehensive knowledge of every nation's politics?

Some people like, Nelson Mandela didn't laugh, but got angry with this man because he felt that he was being arrogant to the South African Black poor, with his flamboyancy.
Mr. Mandela certainly doesn't appear angry with Minister Farrakhan here:

Quote:
Every report or photo I have ever seen of Minister Farrakhan with Mr. Mandela has always reflected a spirit of mutual respect and Love. Truth is, Mr. Mandela regards Minister Farrakhan as his much-loved and respected BROTHER.

You obviously weren't there when Minister Farrakhan and his Wife, in their early years as Muslims, had to dress their children with second-hand clothes...or when they were fire-bombed out of their home...or when they were feeding their children with the food that grocery stores threw away. And through all of that, Minister Farrakhan and his Wonderful Wife, Khadija, NEVER gave up the struggle of serving the cause of our people in America and Abroad. Minister Farrakhan DESERVES every bit of comfort he gets, because he has certainly paid the PRICE for it...serving a rebellious and ungrateful people like us for MOST of his life.
Quote:
Your suggestion that He might be taking advantage of the "poor brothers selling the paper" is nothing more than the whispering of a slinking devil. We are, by Allah's Grace, Building a NATION. In a corporation, does the CEO do the same work as the entry level workers? Do the entry-level workers have the same accommodations as the man who BUILT the company? Is the CEO guilty of "taking advantage of the poor clerks"? Be honest...your suggestion is unfounded and unwarranted...unless you're willing to accuse the Pastor of your Church of the same thing.

Quote:
Correction: Minister Farrakhan is NOT the "founder" of the Nation of Islam. The Founder of the Nation of Islam is Master W. Fard Muhammad, who made Himself known among us, in America, in the year 1930...three years before Minister Farrakhan was BORN.
Quote:
In one breath, you slightly and subtlely malign Islam via your stance against "slavery in Sudan", and now you're saying you "LOVE" Islam...interesting. You say you "LOVE" Islam, but you don't want to be a Muslim...interesting. If you think that Minister Farrakhan does not practice what he preaches, your words suggest that he is not the only one.
Quote:
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was neither "sunni" himself, nor did he instruct his community to be "sunni". This is a concoction of MAN. Prophet Muhammad said "be MUSLIM". Anything you add to "Muslim" is actually taking away from it. Anything you add to "Islam" is actually taking away from it. There is NO SUCH THING as "SUNNI" Islam...there is only ISLAM. ANYONE who tells you anything different is mistaken, at best...a LIAR, at worst.

If they all had the "same Allah" then there would be NO SUCH THING as sunni vs. shia and the like. There is only ONE ALLAH...true. But the people are not all ONE in their worship of Him.

I don't mind so much people disagreeing with Minister Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. What I have a problem with is that MOST of their disagreements are literally BASELESS, fromed on little more than HEAR-SAY and GOSSIP and PROPAGANDA. If you're going to disagree with me, let it be based on a truthful examination of the information present...not based on GOSSIP, HEAR-SAY and PROPAGANDA.

CeeCee are you under the impression that i am with the NOI because i am not. How can i support a man that claims that he is a messenger and that Allah (swt) came down as a human? Subhanallah!!!

Seventh_Angel

This is getting us no where we are on two different paths although we are both claiming to be in the same religion. I do not support the NOI and nor will i ever support them. Their views are no way islamic but i guess you will never see that you are blinded to their faults.....

I pray to Allah (swt) that you be of the guided INshallah

It is not necessary for you to support the Nation of Islam in order for Allah to Support us. However, I agree with the premise of your statement. In light of that, I would only say what the Prophet and his companions were instructed to say to those who disagreed with them: "For you is what you earn, and for us is what we earn...and Allah will inform us of that wherein we differ."
