WHY does God exist? What is God's PURPOSE?

purpose:
The object toward which one strives or for which something exists; an aim or a goal; A result or effect that is intended or desired; an intention;
Determination; resolution;
The matter at hand; the point at issue.
To intend or resolve to perform or accomplish.
To propose, as an aim, to one's self; to determine upon, as some end or object to be accomplished; to intend; to design; to resolve.

Question:
How, if at all, does one's true purpose relate or correspond to one's true IDENTITY?
