every religion or faith believes that they are worshiping the true god but who really is? was the bible written for everyone or a specific people?i read the king james version of the bible and i know what to call my god by. i would just like to find out what everyone else thinks.

i call my god the god of abraham, the god of isaac and the god of jacob. as stated in exodus 3:15 or the god of israel.

But did he have a name....god is not a name it is a title. When the bible was written it did not have the word god in it, they used Elohim.

The bible that you read was written in Hebrew and greek first and then translated to English. Elohim is the Hebrew word for what we say is god. Anything can be a god, just look it up. Even the people who worship the devil call him god so which god are you talking about.

do you speak hebrew today? hebrew is not around anymore it was a langauage that abraham, isaac and jacob spoke.
