Religion of different types have been right about alot of things that science has proved right, and some things wrong also.

Is there anything in the religions that is still to happen, or seems just downright ridiculas?

Are there any other predictions like maybe some more planets or new species being discovered?

There will be a time of great peace and serenity during and after the remaining lifetime of Jesus.

Wealth will be so abundant that it will become difficult to find someone to accept charity.

Arabia will become a land of gardens and rivers.

Society will then decay.

The women of the tribe of Daws will again circumambulate the idol Dhul-Khulsah.

Three major armies will sink into the earth: one in the east, one in the west, one in Arabia.

An Abyssinian leader with thin shins will destroy the Ka`bah.

There will be a huge cloud of smoke.

The sun will rise from the west (its place of setting).

A gentle wind will take the souls of the believers.

There will be no one left on the earth saying "Allah, Allah" or "There is no god but Allah."

Eventually the Day of Judgment will fall upon the worst of the people, who copulate like donkeys in public.

The Angel Israfil will blow the Trumpet, upon which everyone will faint except as Allah wills.

At the second blowing of the Trumpet, everyone will be resurrected.

No man shall buy or sell without the mark of the beast. Which has been used in NWO conspiricy arguements referring to chip implants being placed in Humans for id/tracking/credit purposes.

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." (Revelation 13:16-18)

Lord of the Rings predicted the coming of man and mans domination of the world before it happened..... lol

Buddhism also foretells and expects a savior-messiah. Buddha said that 1000 years after him, the Metteya (or Maitreya) would come and bring divine mercy to the whole universe; and with his coming, religion would reach its completion. The following are some examples of this expectation from Buddhist writings from two different countries. First Burma:

Buddha said: "Our cycle is a happy one, three leaders have already lived . . . The Buddha supreme am I, but after me, Maitriya comes. While still this happy cycle lasts, before its tale of years shall lapse. This Buddha, called Metteya, shall be supreme chief of all Men."

I am not the first Buddha [awakened one] who has come upon the Earth, nor will I be the last. In due time another Buddha will rise in the world, a Holy One, a supreme enlightened one, endowed with auspicious wisdom embracing the Universe, an incomparable leader of men. . . He will reveal to you the same eternal truths, which I have taught you. He will establish his Law [religion] . . . He will proclaim a righteous life wholly perfect and pure, such as I now proclaim.
