Jamal,

Consider this passage in the bible:

1 John 1:1

Think on That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; this,

Judas walked with Jesus himself and handled what John called the Word of life. Yet Judas still had heart enough to betray the Christ.

So the pope being much far removed from Judas situation, handling words 2000 years or more so old, would have no problems in kissing the Quran and in effect as Joshua Stone as written, betraying the scripture or contents of the scriptures.

One thing I will say of JoshuaStone, is that you are coming at this from a political angle, almost a kind of IRA / English styleapproach on thebible, with your rantings on Billy Graham and the Pope. This serves to plant a kind of hatred once again and excuse for your ideas of why men become violent over religion.

One thing I can say of Jamal, TheStudent, LadyDay,Kanobi, and otherswe have debated, and we may argue, but we listen to one another arguments. We are not altogether interested in the political views the world holds on relgionbut more on contents of both the bible and the Quran.

I believe this type of debate is healthier for it will lead us to revelation of God.

Seems to me your near death experience as taught you nothing thus far, and yet why do you come on to argue, if we are so useless ? If what you have already is good enough ?

We could change the world, If God would give us the source code.

From my personal experiences in forums of this nature, when the religiously delusional are shown up for what they actually are they usually go silent like TheStudent has done. Rather than being grateful for the truth they, in effect, stop up their proverbial ears and demonize the bringer of truth. This Muslim known as TheStudent is a personwho would most certainly have been among those screaming for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

In order to break the silence of you religiously delusional I have found that I must proverbially slap you around in a calculated manner. If I slap too intensely I will be banned. If I do not slap intensely enough you will remain silent on the issues. Unlike you who have judged my position as inferior to yours I do not surrender to such a judgment against you. I leave room for you to come out of your proverbial closets with truth that I need from the Spirit.

So I slap you around to see what you are made of and what is see is mush. Here are the impressions I have from the Spirit about theKoran kissing issue:

Chances are if on that day a similar copy of the Catholic Bible was handed to that Islamic Muslim official he would not have kissed it. What does that mean? It means that for the sake of peace, compassion, understanding and tolerance between their beliefs the Pope was willing to humble himself to the point of betraying his religion while the Muslim was not. It means the Pope valued love, tolerance, compassion, understanding and forgiveness above religious beliefs that caused hatred between people. It means that the Pope was doing everything he possible could, without betraying Christ Himself, to ensure that radical Islamic Muslims would not target the Vatican or Catholics, in general, with suicide bombs. Yes, kissing the Koran was the Pope's way of showing the world that love, tolerance, compassion and understandingis superior to religion.

If I was to wait for such a revelation from the Spirit from the likes of you people I would be dead of old age first and you would convince me that I must become like you to be right with God?

I don't want to be fishing around this forum to document what I write here so I intend that the best of the posts I create will be preserved on the thread I created about the Ultimate Belief System.

Here is a photo of the pope at the end of an audience with Patriarch Raphael I of Iraq, where the pope "bowed" to the Muslim holy book, The Koran, presented to him by the delegation.

Considering the volatile self-righteousness of the Islamic Muslim world and their easily offended natures here is something to consider: If Patriarch Raphael I of Iraq was, on the day, to kiss a Catholic Bible in the manner that the Pope kissed the Koran he would have most probably been ex-communicated from Islam and killed by the masses.

I have all the proof I need that the Islamic religion inspires self-righteous bigoted hatred and killing. More so than any religion I have ever investigated. Truly, when it comes to mass murder in the name of God there is no religion quite so bloody as Islam.

When I first saw the picture of the Pope kissing the Koran I felt is was a disgusting act of cowardice. Now I feel I didn't see the full picture of what was actually going on. After accessing the Spirit about the matter I now feel that the Pope was not thinking of the book as he kissed it. I now believe that, in his mind, the Pope was kissing every believer in Islam on the face of the Earth and blessing them to the absolute best of his ability.

He was proving that his God was a God of loving forgiveness and that he didn't have to worry about the Christian God casting him out of Heaven for kissing the Koran in the hopes of bringing an equal respect for both religions to the minds of Christians and Muslims. On the other hand, the Muslim God is not so loving and forgiving. The Muslim in the photo would never 'lower' himself to the point of kissing a Catholic Bible, right? Of course he would look upon the act as lowering himself because he obviously thought of himself as better than the Pope! You Islamic Muslims think of yourselves as better than others and you are the terror of the world because of it.

If some religious follower eventually straps a small nuclear bomb to himself and blows up a major city do you think it will be a Hindu, a Christian, A Buddhist or a Jew who will do such an insane and horrible thing? (((NO!!!!))) If any religious follower does such a thing it will most probably be an Islamic Muslim who sees himself as better than the people he intends to kill in this manner. You Islamic Muslims are the bane of the world and as we stand on the brink of nuclear terrorism it is YOU who bring hopelessness to the future of mankind for war is much more important to you than love and forgiveness!

I suggest you prepare yourselves for the very hell you threaten others with shall swallow you whole!

catholics are corrupt plain and simple.

They are not Christians they worship Mary, and the pope. Real Christians don't.

Anyway by him kissing the quran may mean that he agrees with what it says so sure enough he will burn in hell.

I hope the muslim man made the pope wash out his mouth first. For all you know the pope could have had mouth ulcers or a cold sore. Can you imagine all that bacteria infesting on the koran.ha!

Yeah and what!!!! if u dont like it then go suck on a dippi

Well whatdayaknow! The 'all-knowing' TheStudent thought the person above was a Christian and, apparently,TheStudent was completely incorrect. If he was truly wise he would be wondering just what else he is completely incorrect about. Chances are one day he will be shocked at what he finds.

@J.S

If pressed I have little doubt that you Muslims would boast that you would go to your death in defense of your faith and your book, but you obviously don't have the guts to come right out and boldly answer my simple question. Some inspiration of faith. I have easily exposed you for what you are. It was easy to do. All your 'holier than thou' writing can't hide the truth. You book kissers are a disgrace! Idol worshippers indeed and when backed into a corner you take the coward's way out. I would respect you much more if you boldly defended your beliefs. You know that according to your beliefs the Pope was a false prophet and if you killed him yourselves you would be rewarded in the paradise of Allah. That is your faith (((BE PROUD OF IT))) or change religions. This cowardly denial is unworthy ofAllah! PLEASE GET A LIFE :P

Why are you so bitter

Did someone hurt your feelings

God stop HATING

I don't know about any of you, but I wouldn't want to be a part of a man-made/organized religion (fake spirituality) that is condoned by Jesuits, it's not a good sign at all. Blindly it might appear to be, but it actually is not.

Do you realize that present-day perverted Christianity and it's all of it's denominations (including the Baptist denomination) were perpetuated from the Catholic Church? It's like a diseased plant, if the root is diseased, why wouldn't it travel throughout the branches?
This isn't a direct attack against you, it's just that a lot of information is kept away from public domain and we follow things (such as man-made doctrine) because we perceive it as right or because it's a family tradition. The really messed up thing is that we are sometimes scolded for challenging and asking why when it comes in relation to religion. There are things that even the Baptist church doesn't want you to know, like where does this denomination come from?

Visit this link and find out how this protestant denomination leads back to the Roman Catholic Church.
www.newadvent.org/cathen/02278a.htm
It very much as not being under the direct consulate of the Roman Catholic Church, but still being caught up in it's Jesuitism. So if not directly, they still have you exactly where they want you.
