simple question really-

does God ever eat or need sleep?

did Jesus ever eat or need sleep?

dont shirk from this one people!

According to the bible, yes God must have to eat orsleep and even had human emotions like anger and jealousy. Its obvious that he sleeps because herested on the sabbath. Yes Jesus must have to eat since he was a flesh being and the flesh needs food and rest. Saying that he didn't eat or sleep and he just floated around is twisting the scriptures.

if that is what you believe then that is a really poor opinion of Gods Greatness!!

God created food and sleep as well as the whole universe. Logically, does an Entity soooo powerful need to eat or sleep?!
If He does sleep, whos looking after the universe?!

And does God have human emotions or do humans have Gods emotions? be very careful how you say things.

But if thats what you believe then that is what you believe!

Jesus did eat and sleep as when he was on earth he was fully man and fully God. So he had to eat and sleep.

God did rest but that does not mean he sleep. it Just means he took time (if you can call it time as it does not excist to God) to admire his work. And from memory the bible does not say anything about him need ing to eat.

And bout the emotion thing. God crated use in his own image. so that does mean that God has emoiton and does get angry. But it doesn't say that he lets his emotion over welm him. And what every he does is out of love for use (people).

I personally do not believe in the spiritual God that you believe in but according to the bible he is described as agroup of beings with human qualities, or human's had Godly qualities, what ever. I believe God had hands, a nose and other human features and how eles would he sew fig leaves together or blow the breathe of life into man? How can you sow fig leaves together without hands, I dont believe in magic just science.

How can Jesus be both man and God? please explain in your own words.

i believe that God is UNIQUE. there is NONE like Him. when muslims speak of Gods Hands or of Him 'blowing the breath of life' , these are all metaphorical. I believe that God has no need for hands such as ours. He only has to say 'Be' and it is.

we didnt make God, He made us.

i think the 'humanisation' of God by christians is their major downfall.

The CREATED isnt the same as the CREATOR!!

as usual Islam has all the answers:

1. Why would he create man when he knew we will sin?

As a favour to mankind. He allowed us to have free will and to be able to sin so as to give us the oppurtunity to NOT sin and overcome Satan. .It is this overcoming of sin and the devil that God rewards us and increases our piety and rank in the afterlife.how will you know someones faith if you cant test them? Also it is to breed dependency with Allah to beg only for His forgiveness once we have sinned.

4.Why will God allow his own creation to perish in hell?

If two servants ran away from the kings palace, one returned back peacefully understanding his error rand the other had to be dragged kicking and screaming, do you think they would be treated the same on their return?
so on your return to God, will you be treated with His Mercy or with His Wrath? Remember , we were created in a state of submission to His will, its in this state that we should live and die.
