What does people know of this? and can anybody help maybe clarify things?
The most famous and best known prophecies about the popes are those attributed to St. Malachy. In 1139 he went to Rome to give an account of the affairs of his diocese to the pope, Innocent II, who promised him two palliums for the metropolitan Sees of Armagh and Cashel. While at Rome, he received (according to the Abbé Cucherat) the strange vision of the future wherein was unfolded before his mind the long list of illustrious pontiffs who were to rule the Church until the end of time.

In short....he predicts there would be 112 Popes after Celestine II and then the end of time?
John Paul II was the 110th Pope after Celestine II.
(Prophecy - De labore Solis - of the eclipse of the sun, or from the labour of the sun, Born on May 18, 1920 during a solar eclipse, His Funeral occurred on 8 April, 2005 when there was a solar eclipse visible in the Americas.)
Some say this is the last true Pope.
111th Pope Benedict XVI
(Prophecy - Gloria olivæ - The Benedictine order traditionally said this Pope would come from their order.
He's not from the Benedictine order, but look at the name.
Some may suggest the 111th to be the false Prophet?
112th Pope?
(In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations, at the term of which the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge his people. The End)
Some may say the anti-christ?
Both Rome and Jerusalem are descibed as "the City of Seven Hills." in old times.
What I do know, George Bush Senior approached John Paul II years ago to be the Chaplin of the a new world religion, it was rejected. Will he try again with this current Pope?
what if he suceeds with the next?
that alone would complete the prophecy.
I'm just putting information together, this is just what I've found, I'm no expert.
Can anybody elaborate?
