I am a Christian so everyone don't take this as an offense, but what do the last few posts have to do with the initial question?

@safetyblitz, you wrote:

Since the answer is YES and NO.

The proper question is: Do you trust the Bible?

If so WHY?

If not WHY?

And since the Bible is actually an edited collection of books some people pick and choose what parts to trust.

Ahh yes. The age old topic of the flawed ancient texts. The bible was originally written using 11,280 Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek words, but the typical English translation uses only around 6,000 words. In other words, it's definitely flawed, but it's still one of the tried and true books that hold up over time because the overall metaphysical stories are universal and can be applied to the present space and time. Just like an algebraic equation, the answer is already given but you solve for "x" by turning the answer into a question. With the bible, you check the words for truth by applying your own personal experiences and what you see going on around you. The topic is null and void if you only approach it historically and geographically. You must have knowlege of self and genuine love and respect forGod and the universal divine laws that govern us all. Peace.
