I was reading this article on Schizophrenia and the author was talking about the different treatmentshe has heard of, and one of them was an Islaamic ritual that I know of, and the purpose of this ritual isto purge the demon out of people and apparantly it cured him according to the author.
My question is are these unexplainedmodern mental illnesse's just demonic possession or perhaps some conginital disease. What do you believe?

Sit
Your confusion has throughly confused me.confused2
Lexi.
Any experience with this? stories you've heard of such things.
I've heard of stories when I was younger, it might be even blasphemous to speak of such thinks but it always braught a piercing fear. Demons in Islaam as I've been told roam in the filthiest domains like near the garbage at night when the sun goes down, so everytime I would go by those areas with trepidation.
Do christians have some way of casting out demons that's specific?

Sit: Well, It was an article or a website on Schizophrenia, I can't remember the source but it was about symptoms and theoretical cures. It was an old article, and It's not pertinent to this thread.
By Islaamic ritual, from what I heard, to purge the demon out of someone usually it's done by a group of known muslims who read the quran and do certain prayerswhile the person has his pinky finger and pinky toe tide, and then they proceed to beat the demon out of him.

Muslim or Christian nothin changes, there is a group of monks who use flagellation to purge themself's of 'sin'. Christians invoke spirits without ever knowing WHAT they are opening them selves to. Do Muslim invoke spirit's andare there any precautions you take to identify what you're dealing with?

They don't roam in garbage and filth.
People open up themselves to demonic things through a number of things e.g
Voo doo,Obeah,Witch craft ,Warlockism, palm readers and people that claim to speak to the dead.
Drinking other peoples blood, clarvioents-horoscopes/superstition,taking crack, having frequent sex partnes definately set the scene for demonic madness

WHERE did you get you're information from? If you really knew where man's place was in the spiritual hierarchy you would'nt have writen that.

I KNOW what scripture said about spirits, but when ever the bible gives conflicting information ALWAYS go with the one that empowers you. Remember not everything in that book is 'literal'.

Demonic possesion is real.
But it only happens to pagans and heathens that call on spirits and indulge in things they aught not to.
Rarely if ever does a devout Christian or Muslim get possessed by a demon, because they avoid risky activity that allows entities to violate them like that.
When you see a lot of traditional people dancing and beating themselves into a trance, they are opening themselves up for the spirits to enter their bodies.
They aren't necessarily asking for demonic possession, but they don't know who or what is entering them and taking control.
They think it's their dead mother or uncle taking over to give them some advice, and it's some type of Jinn/demon trying to trick them into doing some dirt into the community.
That's why ancestor worship and other practices that call on spirits were condemned by Moses and other prophets.
Buy getting drunk and using certain type of drugs, you can open yourself up for spiritual possession and while your spirit is gone from your body, another may enter it.
That's why liquor is known as "spirits".
All of this started in Babylon when the Jinn or some rogue angels taught men how to channel the spiritual world, practice magic, and use drugs.

@Ahmaad
Salam bro, glad to see ya back. You done a disappearing act on us.
Interesting points, didn't know about beer and "spirits" but It makes sense.
Anyways, I've been told that by reciting the Quran somewhatforty times in a dark secluded area, you can get yourself a jin for aslave? and other crazy stories.
I thought it was some exaggerated shit, probably was.confused3
But I thought some peoplein insane asylums diagnosed as mentally insanemight possibly be possessed, perhaps some link there.
