I am not exactly sure where in the bible it is stated(i think the old testament) but it is stated that black ppl were cursed with black skin and big lips. This is in the bible and is believed by christians the JEWSand many others .This important part of the bible has been used to justify the atrocities against us.

No mention of colour there! neither is there anyreason to believe Canaan is the ancestor ofall or anyblack africans.

Although the Bible does speak of a curse on Ham and his seed, nowhere does it mention being "black" as part of the curse.

"Blackness" being a curse comes from the Jewish tradition, or TALMUD, which is not part of the Old Testament, but reflects the interpretation of some Jewish Scholars.

Although the atrocities committed against black people can never be justified, they can be explained.

Deuteronomy 28:15-68

But if shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:...........

Many don't believe that blacks were the original Hebrews but the curses contained herein speak for themselves.

i faintly remember being told about a hadith where muhammed,pbuh, talks about the BLESSINGS Allah has given each race.

i think it is said that black people were made physically the strongest and most athletic. all the other races had been given certain attributes better than the other.

You seem to "faintly remember" quite afew hadiths which you for some reason never bother to quote or give references for.

As a matter of fact, you STILL have not honored my request to SHOW us the Hadith that says in matters of difference of opinion, one is obligated to submit to the majority.

the only curse in the Bible that I can remember in which colour was noted, was the curse of leprosy which turned the skin "white as snow"

Yes thanks for the responses, i know that the bible didn't exactly say that but it is an interpretation that has been used to justify slavery etc.

However i do find the curse of leprosy turning the skin as white as snow interesting, can someone tell where exactly in the bible it says this. I am assuming if the skin is going to be turned as white as snow it wasn't beforehand- thus these weren't white ppl but possibly black.I heard that in the Quran it says that the blond and blue eyed should be rounded up, can some1 clarify or i probably got it wrong.

I find the bible to be a mixture of truth and lies, it has been edited to benefit the powerful few- what do ppl think?

Yes he did comitt the wrongful act But

It was his son Canaan who the curse was put down on.

The Bible DID NOT say Black people were cursed REMEMBER THAT!!

Even if there was a reference to black people (which there was not)then all black people would not be cursed because Ham had four sons only one was cursed.
