A. Sign of Creation.
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." "For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." Exodus 20:8, 11.

B. Sign of redemption and sanctification.
"Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them." Ezekiel 20:12.
It is a great insult to God for people to trample upon His Sabbath. In Isaiah 58:13, 14, God says all who would be blessed must first get their feet off His Sabbath.

"Sin is the transgression of the law." 1 John 3:4. "The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23. "Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." James 2:10. "Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps." 1 Peter 2:21. "He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him." Hebrews 5:9.

You have just made a stament which is quite crucial to your faith. You quoted from the bible that if you break one of these law, you are guilty of all. It still goes to prove my point that for you to be still observing the sabbath day, you would have to observe all the law.

If this is not the case, then you belief is void and there is no hope for you.

I trytolive by the ten commandments which is the law that which all are judged.

I am saved by faith and by grace. for all have sinned.

Faith without works (or law 10 commandments)is dead.

You said on another thread that we are living by grace so we don't need the law.

So what you are sayin is that i can kill a man and say its okay because i am saved by grace.

Only God can make a day holy. God blessed the Sabbath, and when God blesses, no man can "reverse it." Numbers 23:20.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God." Revelation 14:12.

Im not tryin to pull someones leg, but did we forget the teachings of paul, oh oh and lets not forget the man JESUS. when you talk about the sabbath day, you have to remember how they kept it holy, you werent allowed to do anything but rest on the sabbath, PAUL teaches that submission to the old testament law which is the law of moses cannot be selective meaning you cant do one forsaking the other. if you were caught doing something on the sabbath they would kill you no questions asked, for example there was a certain man who was going about picking up sticks, i guess he was hungry and was giong to make a fire so he could eat, well he got caught and moses went to God and asked God what to do, God said kill him.

But if you want to choose a day and concecrate yourself to God thats fine, for more clarity on that read romans 4. for man is now justified by faith not by works, and we fufil the old law through love, for example since i love you i wont kill you etc..

Lets be sure of what we are talking about when it pertains to the Word because people are viewing this and we dont want to discourage someone from comming to JESUS. GOD BLESS AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER, and please listenhttp://www.cdbaby.com/joshuasgen

I think you meant Romans 14 but you lead me to a very important text.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, weestablish the law. Romans 3:31.

Regarding Romans 14

According to Romans 14:5, the day we keep is a matter of personal opinion, isn't it?
Romans 14:5

Notice that the whole chapter is on judging one another (Verses 4, 10, 13). The issue here is not over the seventh-day Sabbath, which was a part of the great moral law, but over the yearly feast days of the ceremonial law. Jewish Christians were judging Gentile Christians for not observing them. Paul is simply saying, "Don't judge each other. That ceremonial law is no longer binding."

If the 4th commandment isn't relevant then none of the 10 commandments are relevant. So therefore God has no problem if i lie, kill or steal. Cause we are living under grace.

NOBODY HAS ANSWERED THIS

Okay let me put it another way. is it okay for me to change the law and say its okay tosteal onlyif i steal from a rich man?
