That was always the standard answer given to me Ladyday - pray. That as well as seek guidance amongst fellow Christians.
Reading the bible and other religousstuff is suppose to help too.
If all that don't help then it's suppose to be a test and God's will.
lol (dryly).

This may sound like cliche, but the act of "giving" is very powerful and liberating. An unselfish act such as volunteer-work or charitable donationsrelieves the pressures weoften put on ourselves(typically due to the harsh demands of society)and magically shifts the focus fromselfonto God and his will for us. In the process, we grow another inch in consciousness. A healthy seed is sown. And our faith strengthens.

I AGREE TOTALLY, WE MUST PRAY, AND SEEK GOD THE MORE, BUT ALSO WE MUST APPLY WORKS WITH OUR FAITH LIKE 107 SAID, AND GET OUT AND PUT IT INTO MOTION LIKE 3RD EYE SAID, ALL OF THOSE THINGS ARE GOOD IN MY BOOK,
LIKE THE AFRICAN PROVERB SAYS "WHEN YOU PRAY MOVE YOUR FEET"
TO ME THATS SAYING PRAY ABOUT IT BUT KEEP ON KEEPING ON, AND DONT WORRY LET GOD DO THE REST, YOU JUST DO YOUR PART, IN READING, PRAYING, FASTING, CONSECRATION, MEDITATION, ETC.
Unbelief is Deceit,

God's word has never changed...Its the same as it has always been...Prayer has always worked. When faith is in question, pray harder because thats when the Devil is attempting to pull you away. God is the author of peace, not confusion....Let His mercy restore you. I am a born again Christian under Church of God in Christ (COGIC) and I am yet only a baby in Christ, about a year in a half doing it the right way instead of my way. I find that prayer always works when I am down. So lets pray for each other as we get stronger in the Lord!!!!

Often time when your faith is weak, the christian is at a point of being at their strongest. The fact that you recognize a weakness is because something inside you is telling you, you are much better than where you are at.
In the scriptures somewhere it is written where God says my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Only when Jesus was in the sepulchre was he potentially at his most strongest, Apostle Paul picks upon it and says he was sewn in weakness but arose in strength.
If your faith is weak, as a poster as said earlier it is because you are being tested and tests will come and go throughout the child of God's life cycle. So be encouraged, if you feel weak, its because strength is around the corner.
God wants to develope some spiritual muscle in you, and to do that you have to tear some muscle for it to come back stronger.
We could change the world, If God would give us the source code.

Ladyday; I'm obviously not qualified to speak on matters spiritual, however what i would say is that when something continually brings you down..then maybe its because that person isn't learning the lesson they are mean't to and as such cannot move on..
maybe your friend needs to reflect on what is making her 'weak' and and address the issue in herself honestly...
