The Quran...Paradise...and the Near Death Experience.

Check out this very descriptive view of Paradise Allah gives us in the Koran 55: 46-78-

"But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens-

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);-

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free);

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach).

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

Like unto Rubies and coral.

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good?

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,-

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering).

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance:

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates:

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;-

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;-

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;-

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?-

Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty.

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. "

Now check out the vivid descriptions of what was experienced by people of different religions and backgrounds when they die and are able to come back and relate what they saw-

"I remember the fear of impact (getting hit), however, I have no recollection of the impact or having my body become totally integrated with the bicycle, nor hurtling over sixty feet through the air and landing in the canal. My next memory was quite a scene in the hospital emergency room. It was the most unique experience of my earthly life. Unique, because I was observing my own body in the emergency room and all the activity going on, except that I was not in my body. I was above it all - looking down. I was feeling no pain.

Everyone was very busy. I knew by their activity that I was in serious trouble. There was much discussion about how to extract me from the tangled wreckage of my bike and/or whether they would need to leave me in it until I was stabilized enough to try. I could see and hear everything. It was gruesome. It was frightening. They finally decided they had me stable enough to get rid of the bike and they called for a welding specialist to bring a torch to help cut me out of the bike. Thank God my body seemed to be unconscious. All of this would have been quite enough for my young mind to endure - until one nurse, whom I knew, said to another, "Well - it certainly makes you wonder if it is worth saving this mess."

She nearly scared me to death! At that moment, it was more than I could stand above and watch. I wanted to run away from this scene. I needed to escape. Quickly, I turned, took one step through the wall so to speak and found myself in total darkness. I looked back - nothing but darkness! Before I could barely think, "Now I've done it!," I apparently took another step; and I was instantly in the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. This garden was like a formal terrace which had been carved out of a rough mountain, just a few feet below the peak. Everything was white marble and evergreen. The air was so incredibly light and clear and fresh and cool. It seemed like I was breathing pure chilled oxygen. The garden was trimmed in evergreen shrubs, each a perfect specimen; and the fragrance of evergreen lightly scented the air. This place seemed so perfect in every detail. Directly in front of me, just a few steps away, was a marble bench which seemed to invite me to come, sit, and rest.

As I sat down and breathed in the fresh wonderful air, I looked around. What a wonderful place to rest. The floor was flat and smooth, polished to perfection such that it looked seamless. This garden terrace was surrounded by low marble pillars and a marble railing and looked like it had been formed right out of the side of the mountain in one seamless effort. I noticed the stark contrast between the formal perfection of white marble and the surrounding mountain that was rough and ragged by comparison."

"Thomson doesn't remember crashing his car or the accident itself. All he remembers is that he immediately found himself in "velvety pure, non-threatening darkness" with a speck of light in the distance. He said he didn't necessarily feel like he "went into the light," but rather he and the light "merged into one." Immediately he experienced overwhelming feelings of peace and love – completely non-judgmental and infinite in nature.

"Think of all of the good things you can feel and amplify those as much as you can imagine," Thomson said. "That's only a fraction of what it feels like."

Upon entering the light, a place where Thomson said he thinks time and space doesn't really exist, he found himself in a garden with a pine tree in the not-too-far distance. From behind the tree walked a translucent figure who leaned over and pointed in the direction of a nearby hill range. From the hill range came three figures, one of which Thomson said was his late grandfather. Thomson said the figures didn't have bodies he could see, per se, but he is confident of the three beings' presence and is positive one of them was his grandfather."

"Our investigation begins with what happened in the spring of 1987 to Jennine Wolff of Troy, New York. She was thirty years old at the time. Due to complications from endometriosis, she suffered numerous bouts of hemorrhaging, several surgeries (including a hysterectomy), an additional hemorrhage of massive proportions, and, finally, emergency surgery. During the final operation, she floated out of her body and entered another realm of existence (pages 51-53, paperback version, "BEYOND THE LIGHT"):

"Suddenly I was aware of being in the most beautiful garden I've ever seen. I felt whole and loved. My sense of well-being was complete. I heard celestial music clearly and saw vivid colored flowers, like nothing seen on earth, gorgeous greenery and trees."

The Quran...Paradise...and the Near Death Experience.

This has been documented through-out history, when one experienced very vivid Quranicevent thatwere alreadymentioned centuries ago.

You can tell when one is dying, how sinless he/she has lived.

What always amazed me is how so many people seem to see dead relative when they are dying.

I've seen people do it.

That's almost a sure sign that they are leaving us, when they start seeing dead brothers, mothers, and uncles.
