Did anyone notice the witness on tv who said that people were saying their prayers whilst they were trapped underground?

I wonder how many other people said thier prayers at the time of the bombings?

Is that what it takes to believe? How many were previously unbelievers?

Despite that maybe we shoulduse this threadto say thoughtful prayers for those who are still missing and suffering.

It doesn't have to be long - just one liners or short sentences will do.

Thanks Sleep No More. For those who are not religous, perhaps you could leave words of condolences. Just put down what you would put on a card like the flowers left outside the station.

May they all make it to the other side safe and greeted by loved ones that have passed on before them. This is their true home.

It's funny how everyone seems to believe in God at the time of trajedy.

I used to pray only in times of trouble, but when Godhelped me out I started feeling guilty and now pray regardless of good or bad times.

You see back in mid 80s (i was very young then hardly 10 yrs old)an article appeared on Africa Events it was one of the best selling current events magazine across Africa. The article discussed the role of Juju in african politics.

In one of the articles ittalked about a prominent Roman Catholic African leaderwho devised policies which were openly antimuslim throughout his rule of power in that country. One day this gay went to a muslim sheikh (scholar) and sought his help. Among the ritual praticed was the recitation of a certain Quranicchapter 1000 times on a water container and then to use that water to bath this president. The guy remained in power for 25 years

Now a question arose in my mind. Why would an openly anti muslim person seek the help of something islamic to achieve his goals? The answer is simple it works.

And there are many people like the gentleman above they know that it works but it is their pride and/or fear of loss of position which holds them back from admitting the truth. This is why your ego is your worst enemy.

Pls noteIslam does not support juju practices this is merely a case of Muslims invoking God to satisfy their need.

Used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.
