Are Christianity and capitalism compatible? Much of the teaching of Jesus Christ would seem to fit very uncomfortably with capitalism in almost it's every form. Although Jesus Christ's father was a carpenter using his own labour in conjunction with "labour-saving devices" in order to be able to provide for himself and his family.
