Indeed, Arabic
is the Black Man's language. It was first spoken by
us.
See Dana Reynolds article, "The African Heritage
& Ethnohistory of the Moors" in Ivan Van Sertima's
Golden Age of the Moor, as well as Phillip Hitti The
Arabs, Runuko Rashidi's "African Presence in Early Asia"
and Godfrey Higgins Anacalypsis.
In terms of the
hadith al-shabb or hadith of the young man, practically
the entire proto-Sunni community acknowledged it in
the early stages of Islam's doctrinal development.
Among the Companions, we have Ibn Abbas, Anas b. Malik,
Ibn Umar, Umm al-Tufayl, Abu Razin, Asma', and Mu'adh
b. Afra. The Tabi'un acknowledge it: al-Hasan
al-Basri, Qatda, Ikrima, Abdallah b. Wahb, Abu Saih, Layth
b. Sad, Mukhul, just to name a few. The ulama
unanimously affirmed it: al-Hakam b. Aban, Affan b. Muslim,
Yaya b. Main, Ahmad b. Hanbal, Abu Zura al-Razi, Aswad
b. Amir, Abdallah b. Adi, al-Ashari, etc. Belief in
it was counted obligatory by the ulama in the 8-9th
centuries when Sunni "orthodoxy" first emerged. The sources
for this are all in Arabic. If you read Arabic let me
know and I will print the citations here. Otherwise, I
am presenting a paper on this very subject at the
Middle East/Islamic Studies conference in Chicago in
May. Afterwards, I will probably post the paper on the
internet.

I hope this has been of some help to you. I am
sorry this had to be so brief, but all of these points
will be elaborated on in the future, In Sha'
Allah.

Peace
True Islam
