I would like for you to come away with me to the book of Matthew 12:40.....

Where we find these words For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish. So will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

But, for your information, the' teaching' of the majority of sunday keeping Christianity, is The Messiah was put in the grave on 'good friday' at SUNSET, and that he was Resurrected AT SUNRISE ON EASTER SUNDAY MORNING.

Are you still with me? alright let's continue Here is where i need your help! I need you to add this up for yourself and see if you get three days and three nights from this TIME SEQUENCE?

*Friday night-One Night.

Saturday (Day)-One Day.

*Saturday Night-One Night.

Resurrected Sunday At Dawn- No Day

Well, there are two nights and one day in this time sequence.

But over in the book of Matthew 12:38-40 We find these words spoken by Jesus, Verse 38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, and said to him: We desire to see a sign from you, Verse39 So He answered and said to them: An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it, EXCEPT THE SIGN OF THE PROPHET JONAH, Verse 40

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, SO WILL THE SON OF MAN be three days, And three nights in the heart of the earth.

It is absolutely necessary that Jesus fulfill this prophecy, OR otherwise he would not prove to be the true Messiah!!

The true Messiah must have remained in the grave three days and three nights, So in effect, Christianity calls him a liar and not the true Messiah----- BY THEIR COUNT, HE ONLY REMAINED IN THE GRAVE TWO NIGHTS AND ONE DAY!

Interesting argument you have put forth. However, there is one problem with the Bible (and especially the New Testament). It contradicts itself so many times, that you oftencannot use its premises to contruct a sound thesis. I think that this is one of those times...
Quote:
The New Testament seems to vaguely refer (Matthew 17:13-16) to both John the Baptist and Elijah as the "Son of Man," or sometimes just John the Baptist (Matthew 11:7-19). Therefore, a Christian could easily refute your "interpretation of the Word" by saying it means something else. It is probably best to stay away from that type of argument all together.

What about something "they" really don't want people to know?...what about the prophecy of Yisrael (Israel)'s Day ofResurrection? Hosea 6:2, "After two days He will revive us, in the third day we will stand in his presence." Um...what day? Lucifer then said, "Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)." Now anyone through one way or another could find out that the bible (as a canonized work)was translated andrewritten in allegoric form. So the dead in this instance aren't actually the physically dead, instead, they (Israel)are in fact the spiritually dead. If you are familiar with the divine curses placed upon Yisrael in Deuteronomy 28, which would identify by description asYisrael not being the "so-called Jews", but in fact, black people. The very people who havepartaken in the (religious)idol worship/whoring within present-day Babylon. What will Yisrael reawaken to? Primarily, the truth.Yisrael will awaken to the true spirituality of their ancestors, which does not equate to Jesus (Christianity) or Allah (Islam). This is the day their oppressors fear.

Those two days spoken of in Hosea 6:2have been 2000 years (search and find out for yourself), for Yisrael have been asleep for that long. Yisrael will no longer be the tail of this world, but the head. Isaiah 49:23, "And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with [their] face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me."

Isaiah 49:26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD [am] thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Yacob.

Just when I though i was out, they pull me back in.blkscholar

Jesus did not arise on Sunday you are right !.

He arose on what we call Monday morning, but the way in which the bible records time, Jesus rose Sunday morning.

Go back to Genesis.

The evening and the morning was the first day.

Jesus was crucified Friday, they took the body down before the evening as it would profane the coming passover and sabbath. So at sunset, the first evening on a Friday the body spent its first night in the tomb. From sunset to morning is the first day. Through the day to sunset again, sunset Saturday would herald in the second day, and the morning would make the end of that second day. sunset (what we call sunday night, is the third night) and (what we call Monday morning) would be the end of the third day.

something to that effect... worked this out a while back. Its how we tell time, to how they told time back then.

Note the bible doesn't state Jesus arose on Sunday morning, it said he would rise on the third day. Constantine is responsible for the other stuff.....

We could change the world, If God would give us the source code.

Yahshua was not crucified on a Friday it was more likely on Wednesday. And by the way the bible records time he was risen on the Sabbath which as we all know is Saturday.

Quote:
If Saturday is the Sabbath then he could not have been crucified on a friday because Friday evening would be the beginning of the Sabboth, so the Sabbath at this point would have already been profaned....

You said :The evening and the morning was the first day

Quote:
You are right the bible said that he was risen on the third day and that Mary Magdalene saw the Angel of Yahweh not Yahshua. The Angel told thim that he had already risen. It also stated at the end of the sabbath as it began to "DAWN" toward the first day of the week. Dawn usually means the next day.
Quote:
Wednesday Evening -Thursday Morning = 1 Day
Quote:
Thursday Evening - Friday Morning = 2 Day
Quote:
Friday Evening - Saturday Morning = 3 Day Which is the Sabbath and this would be the third day.
Quote:
Saturday Evening - Sunday Morning = First day of the week. Mary and Mary went to see the tomb andYahshua had already risen.
Quote:
Constantine is responsible for a lot of things and one of them was changing the day of worship from the true Sabbath(Saturday) to Sunday(The venerable Day of the Sun) so that he could continue to worship his god. Constantine was a sun worshiper. So once you get the Sabbath corrected you can easily see what day he was impaled on.

Shalom.
