This is true. Most people and I mean most have no spirituallity at all only religion. And I consider myself very spiritual but I have no religion. The concept of the spiritual mind body and soul is out of there reach because they have been brainwashed with religion.
Shalom.

spirituality is diffrent than religion my peoples, first things first, earth based traditions, like yoruba, and the earth based traditions of the aboriginnes of australia, papa new guinea, brazil, the amazon region, people had their spirituality way before the whiteman brought their craps to the new world, that is islam and christianity.
religion is man made thing, organized religion is man worst enemy, for example,so many people in amerikkka,uk and the west indies, read the same bible, the king james bible, on which says" slaves obey thy masters"( people, sometimes,i write as if i am speaking,so bear with me),where i come from, the indigenous people of the amazon forests, the elders, they can tell you whats wrong with you, spiritually and mentally and they know all the herbs and plants in that forest that are unknown to man, and they dont havea freaking koran or freaking bible to heal people, they just heal people, all kinds of ailments,( true accounts) can any christian or mulism interact with nature, know what is poison and know what is good, can they get messages from the spirits that tells them what to use or not to use!? do they have the power of clairvoyance? and predict whats gonna happen?
afrikan tradition eroded because the arab invasion of the continent and the christian crusades who called afrikan traditions pagan, the same people who went on rampage trying to convert the indigenous people of the amerikas are the same people who messed the mind of afrikan peoples worldwide, saying that afrikan traditions were evil and pagan, think about it,anybody have any more question email me or ask me anything,i will humbly answer with in my knowledge bases about earth based traditions.blktype

Thank you for confirming that there are people that are understanding this. Some people are so afraid to step away from that which they have always known, even if it is detrimental for them. I will always know that he that hears and understands will do just that.

This is true Spirituality and Religion aren't necessarily the same...
However spirituality is usually part of or influenced by religion one way or another.
Most people wouldn't even know what a spirit WAS unless they or those who taught them had a brush with religion to explain what it was.
By religion you were taught what angels and souls were as a child, but as you got older you left that religion to pursue material gain, butwhen you had a spiritual experience like seeing a ghose or leaving your body it just confirmed that which you were already taught as a child.
The New Age phenomena....
I see this entire move toward spirituality by MOST of our people as just a convenient excuse to duck personal responsibility for thier actions and adhere to a moral discipline.
I can cheat on my wife, smoke dope, rob, kill, cuss, have children out of wed-lock....all the while claiming to be a "spiritual being" outside the boundaries of religious authority.
Once we tell ourselves there are no more rules and absolutes in life...we're headed for chaos.
There are laws and rules that govern the spiritual world as well!
Am I my brother\'s keeper?
YES I AM

Yes there are that is why those who do the above mentioned thing and say that they are spiritual are not only liars but hypocrites. The rules that govern spirituality forbids such things, and a spiritual person would know that.
