Hi, I'm doing an assignment for college on Rastafarianism but know very little on the subject apart from it began in Jamaica. I would like to know from anyone who has a little more knowledge than me, if you are practicing the religion that would be great. I would really like to know where it's roots are eg. Christianity, Judaism etc. Also what practices make upthe fundamental part of the religion. There is lots secondary information available, but i'm not sure that all of it is correct, I would like to hear from a first hand perspective. Who is the leader or religious icon, where do Rastafarians worship and how does being a Rastafarian affect your life on a daily basis (for those practcing) any information I get will be brilliant. I'm sorry, but I have no knowledge at all on the subject, but with your help I shall hopefullycomplete my assignment well schooled.
