Pretty much. It has been here for centuries, but we should not forget that the Christianity we are familiar with today originally came from Europe, which in turn was taken and perverted from a much earlier source that predates continental separation and drift (as illustrated in Gen 10:25 of this religion's text, the bible). There is information out there that plainly shows that the Old Testament was the Hebrew Bible (denoting a people and their language) before it was added to The Holy Bible in addition to the New Testament. Both are now in english which is rooted in greek. I know very well that greek isn't the oldest spoken or written language, a simple principle of nature/biology accentuates that.
It really doesn't matter if its Eastern or Western Christianity, it was holistically "developed" (yeah right, realistically more at debased) in Europe. We all have many examples of Christianity (nor any other religions) has not spiritually refined man, in fact, it has facilitated the complete inverse. The word 'Christ' in 'Christianity' is based on the greek ' Christos' which means 'anointed' . Anointed means "to choose by or as if by divine election" . Christ is described as "an ideal type of humanity". Now, have we really seen a prime example ofan ideal type of humanity that was chosen by divine election come from Christianity that has made a major, lasting and positive change for all people, especially the "racial underdogs"? I'm not talking about one man, I mean more than just one man. I can't think of one without some kind of underlying agenda. I am not saying that an ideal type of humanity does not exist, because it does exist right now here in the flesh, just not in the way we have been taught to believe.
All in all, everybody should know the probing, complete truth about their religion, if he or she decides to adhere to it in light of that knowledge, it is his or her choice. Traditions are worthless if they don't have any real meaning with a purpose worth remembering...Black people better realize that before it is too late.
