[suP]17[/suP]"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
[suP]18[/suP]"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
~Matthew 5:17-18
This scripture clearly says that the Law is to stand until "heaven and earth pass" and until "all is accomplished". Now, it is obvious that Christians do not adhere to the Law and have disregarded the Old Testament, but I do not necessarily want to discuss this here.
Coulda Christian tell me how Jesus "fulfilled" the Law and the Prophets that Christians feel justified in notpracticing Judaism?
Perhaps the most interesting is that I still see earth (so I assume there is still heaven), so why has many strokes passed from the Law?
If you are a Christian, then what is your reasoning to make yourself exempt from these clauses?
