YEC's=Young Earth Creationists=Christians that believe God created earth 6,000 years ago...
When it comes to suggesting a date for the creation of the Earth, perhaps few people have been the butt of more ridicule on the subject from sceptics than Archbishop James Ussher. It was Ussher who in the 1650s put forward the idea that this occurred on October 23, 4004 BC, and this year appeared as a marginal note in many Bibles up until about the mid-20th century. So was Ussher a wise man, a charlatan, or just naive? And what should we think about his date?
Now you ask, how did he get the year 4004 BC?
Answer: He took the chronologies in Genesis 5 and 11,...
So was Ussher Right?
Ussher was neither charlatan nor naive; in fact, he was one of the most learned men of his day. Understanding the assumptions with which he began his calculations (particularly the one we should all begin with, namely that God’s Word is true and reliable), we can readily understand how he arrived at his date for creation. In fact, if one assumes that there are no deliberate ‘jumps’ or gaps in the later genealogies (for which the evidence in my view is inadequate), then his date is a perfectly reasonable deduction based on his detailed knowledge of and reverence for the Word of God.

please, remember, the age of the earth was based mainly on Adam's genealogies.
later, this WILL be VERY important.

Some Christians believe the earth is only 6,000 years old. This is a
mistake. I believe the "6,000" years is the amount of time since the
making of th Biblical Adam, the Caucasians.
The story of Adam and Eve is about the Caucasian race, which has been
on earth for about 6,000 years.
CAN ANYONE PROVIDE "PROOF", THEY HAVE BEEN HERE LONGER?
this is not "racist". I only seek the truth.

Those who think the Earth is 6000yrs old should be in a mental institution, all the wealth of knowlegde available to everybody just by looking out of the window alone should be enough, but nope, these +1600yr old books say stay dumb with fear(its easier to control)
Considering that human remains have been found in the Georgia region(Caucasus) dated to about 1.8 million years means nothing does it? Considering that it's not possible to genetically identify dem bones as black or white means nothing does it?
Why?
The only genetic differance is colouration of pigmentation, it is such a small genetic differance that a white person who has a similar build, height, features to yourself could have less genetic differances between you ,than your own sibling who has a smaller frame, skinny head etc. I know this isn't sinking in.
For the five year olds:
A goldfish is gold, a common goldfish is silver in colour, the differance is colour pigments. The goldfish has the same pigmentation as a gold gourami and has similar to a gold neon tetra. Yet, the gourami and the tetra are different to the common goldfish which is silver, and shares the same genes as the goldfish.
LOL people need to stop fueling the lie of diffrence, some clowns told you... you're different, you grab the differance theme and turn it on it's head and run with it. It's just another version of the black Jesus-white Jesus, just so long as its Jesus to keep within a parameter. It's not sunk in yet has it?
As for Adam, it's been mentioned already in this forum about Khnum making man from dust/clay on his potters wheel, this can be seen and read carved in stone and dated before 6000BCE, yet people are trying to fit Adam into a pigeon hole which suits their own theological ideals. The story of Khnum is more important than thinking about Adam or the whiteman being created in 4000BCE.
Truth lies with origination, the origins helps you to find what is bullsh*t FULLSTOP even the ancients knew this.confused3

It also requires you to believe Adam and family lived for 900 years and so on...

The reason, some Caucasia Christians erroneously believe the earth is 6k years old is because they added up the years of the generations from Adam toJesus as told inthe Old Testament.
Theymistakenly thought the beginning of Adam was the beginning of creation when, it was onlythe beginningof Caucasians, the Biblical Adam.
