Noticed on my travels that hotel rooms always have a Bible included. Growing up there were countless Bibles in the family home...even got one given to me by my school. Even if not a practising Christian is there at least one Bible present in your family home?

I have the Kings James Version, New King James Version, and New Living Translation in print in my home. However, I have a digital/electronic copy of almost every circulated Bible translation & version on my computer including theoldest known complete Bible (the Septuagint), Masoretic texts, Apochrypha, as well as Bibles in different languages including Arabic and Hebrew.

I have King James and NCV, which stands for the New Century Version. The wording in this one is as now as it gets and very american. Most people think the King James version is the standard with the "old english", thou, and thy and art...I call it Shakespearian.

hmmm...interesting...I'm sure I had one when I moved in..can't find one now...maybe that's what's missing in this joint!! We're drifting far from Jah!!
Growing up I always heard rumours about a bible called the Macabee..and that it has been banned by babylon due to its anti-babylon content. Does anybody know of its existence and if a copy can be acquired?

I have a number of bibles in my home.
A good question is how many do you really need and if you have more than one, what would you do with the extras?
Would you consider giving it away to some one who doesn't have one?
If so, as I often ask myself, when?

I have a king james version of the bible. I use it to stand on when I work my calves. It's the perfect height for incline step-ups.
