Is all seeing God so bloodthirsty that mankind can only be saved by a massacre of billions?
Christians, Muslims, Jews - you all have your end-timers who pray for the day everything gets destroyed in the name of God.
Why?

Good one...
My mom brought home another Jehovahs wittness magazine, apparently theres signs that the world could be coming to an end, again.
Gets really pathetic, a family friend actually sold his business when the world ended in the 80s. I think they keep coming out with end of days type newsletters to keep people clinging to their faith. In the same way Yoga was evil when it came out because you're praying to diffrent gods by sitting cross legged or trying to get into a lotus position.
Ie; You might find comfort within yourself and not need to go looking for it and be told what to think constantly, out of their control.
To sympathise;
Maybe the world did end in the 80s. Prehaps the planet crumbled and fell into the depths of outset space but as it happened so quickly we're in mass shock. Still beliving that we're alive and orbiting the sun. A mass delusion came into effect, only held up by the perseverance of our faith in reality and what is really real, our collective consioussness holding together every atom in the belief that we're still alive when it all ended 20 years ago and we're nothing but duppy, on a duppy planet.
Or there was a change that happened in the 80s that metaphorically was, ''The end of the world'' and end times prophecies are just that.
There will be a change = The end of the world. (As we know it)

You should make a movie with that imagination. The only time I usually hear reasoning like that is when i'm perched on my fence surrounded by rasta's lighting up trying to reason with them about Jesus. Makes for some interesting topics a tell you.bighairlol
As for the end-time question. Stickup-kid, would you rather the world plunge further into thedarkness we are already in or God save us out of it ?.
Its not that God is blood thirsty, but if for instance a body as cancer in it, what does the doctor do ?. He burns out the cancer to save the body. God promises to destroy that cancer which kills this world. That cancer is SIN. That cancer will make a grown man molest and destory a little childs life. Yes you may say and those types of men are in church. I won't argue with that, but the bible does say Judgement will first begin in the house of God.
Many things are going on in this world and according to the bible I read, God does not ask me to pray for its destruction, for that is a for gone conclusion, no need to ask, he's doing that anyway. Neither as he put it into the hands of christians to cipher out who is fit for the Kingdom and who is not. Only to spread the hope of the Gospel and of his return. That he is coming to put an end to the misery. To one half of the world being rich whilst killing the other half and making them poor. God as set aside a time for balance to be restored. I like the prophet of old echo the sentiment, "even so Lord, come quickly".
It ain't about blood thirstiness, its about righteousness and true Justice, about the bllod of the innocent being spilled etc.....
We could change the world, If God would give us the source code.

Rebel-Lion LOL - you 'tan deh. I wouldn't be surprised to findpeople sheltering underground in hiding thinking we are all upstairs suffering the consequences of the millenium bug. I remember talking to a Moslem bro nearing the time and he was telling me his prophets have warned everybody to stock up on food and clothes and such....no doubt he's still going through the excess

@ Justavoice... Now you know.
.lol. Been back on theweed again.
Its not that God is blood thirsty, but if for instance a body as cancer in it, what does the doctor do ?. He burns out the cancer to save the body. God promises to destroy that cancer which kills this world. That cancer is;- The systematic and continuous destruction ofthe firstpeoples and others whos way of lifeis intended to, and always has been,in cordinance with the planet -Thesystematic promotion of social ills and imbalances amongst the people, distrust, greed etc etcto prolong rulershipin denial of every mans heritage = The sin of sins.
To, ''burn in hell'' is to feel the wrath of Ra himself for living in such a self destructive manner, after which a new beginning shall be born into exsistance as the planet is reborn/brings itself back into order as, in reality, she isaliving breathing entity...far fromjusta planet we happen to live on.
God bless the 'erbs.
Hotep.

It all depends on what God the people are worshipping and how aware they are of that whom they worship. Do they worship a God of Life {an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction}or a god of death {a permanent cessation of all vital functions}? Look around the world and the answer presents itself, not the right God.
Like I have written before, religion is and have always been a watered-down system patterned on Divine spirituality but minus the majority of the Divine knowledge. The religions try hard to appear like the real thing, the real salvation, but truly are not.
"The End" really isn't "the end" at all, it's a system reset.
I think the people who follow the world(ly) religions pray for "it to end" because they hope that will be the vehicle for things to get better. Not that it won't because it will, but their hope is misdirected by who they send their prayers to.
Either way seeing the positive and/or negative, I say seeboth for what they are, the truth is the truth and the inevitable is inevitable.

Because it's easier to have people direct their faith somewhere when they think we're near the end of times.

All of these religions were crafted by Whites people, so is the answer really not obvious? Look at White behavior today amongst Arabs, Europeans, and Jews. The world is on the brink of a nuclear destructionat the push of a button. All the genocide committed by these 3 groups alone would fill several nations with souls. It is theWhite man's nature tobe against nature. I guess you would call White men "Set" from Kemeticspirituality (force of opposition), which wasreconstructed into the "Satan" in the psychologically maladapted White religions. Perhaps this is where the term "white devils" comes from.confused3

They're nothing but a military machine. Thats it. Physical, physical, physical the direct opposite to our spiritual orientation.
Seek to dominate nature rather than live alongside it. If they had their way they'd destroy the planet completely.

In the vein of saying that they are against nature, I would also share in my observation that there is atendency ofbeing unreasonably prone to act in defiance. Even in the simpliest of occurrences where taking the opposite ofa certain action has no benefit, yet in full knowledge of that, they take the route of actionanyway. Common sense as well as other faculties makes me think, "What in thehell would somebody do that for??". It's like running into a burning house that nobody is in;umm...why would one do that? Yes, children do that a lot, but I have seen it in grown arse adults both young and old. It is foolishness, simple foolishness.
