Yes I do. The church I go to is multi-racial, half blacks(Africans, Caribbeans and African Americans) and Half whiteand it is Nationwide and they do not believe in Mega Churches. The branch I go to in my City alonepulls in aboutseven (7) million dollars in contributionevery year, but every single penny is spent on the poor in third World Countries. The church building is just an ordinary building. We have many medical doctors that volunteer their services for free for thirty (30) days every year helping to treat people in Africa, The Caribbeans and South America. Every year they sent container loads of books and supplies to Third World Countries. A group just returned from building Schools in Africa and the Caribbeans. Every Branch in every city is helping poor people in so called Third World Countries. Where I am we support East Africa. Another branch supports Southern Africa, etc, etc.

Your church sounds dynamic. I also attend a church that does considerable charitable work.

I started going to this church when I went to graduate schools and some students invited me. I was surprised to see all nationalities there from Blacks/Africans, Asians, Indians, Whites, all of them. They are very involved in college campuses and from my observations, all of the students who come there are all straight A students because of all the resources they have to help anybody educationally including tutoring if they have problems or lagging behind. In the real World, all the members are very driven andhard working and very successful in lifeand it really inspired me. Many of the members are professionals butthose who are not; work hard. If you work as Taxi-driver then they inspire you to be the best driver out there. Those with connections always look out for others and help other people gain opportunities too.
I went to Nicaragua on a mission to build schools and spent seven days pounding on the roof with a hammer and nails. A friend just returned from Kenya buiding a school and an aids clinicin the slums of Nairobi. All the money we collect from contribution is spent on charity work. The thing I like about this church is because it is Worldwide and nationwide. If I want to move to Los Angelos, then they would connect me with the chruch in Los Angelos and instantly, I would have hundreds of friends to help me around the city. If I needed a job, they would help me get one, just like that. So it does help to have people around you who are willing to go the extra mile for you when you are need.
