Do you belive that there is such thing as telepathy, claivoyance and so on?

If so what do you think of it all... Have you experienced telepathy or something like that?

All comments welcome, religious or otherwise.

Yes I do but equally there are a lot of charlatans out there and they get everyone tarred with the same brush.

And people have to overstand it's not like a tap that you can turn off or on at will; it's something that usually just present itself - not hollywood styleeeither lol. And althoughI find it is always 100% accurate,a failing would usually lie in our judgement or lack of faith if you like or failure to interpret it exactly.

I remember watching a 'wildlife' programme, (they actually called it that initially, until they swiftly changed it to 'Disappearing World'), about a tribea film crew were following.

They showed tribesmen going outto lookfor honey. All the womenfolk left behind knew exactly when the men found it and they started to yell and whoop, (or was it sing a song, lol), but anyway - you could tell the commentator was amazed/impressed but he tried to cover it up with some thinly disguised dismissive remark.

I believe it is in all of us but so called 'modern' living prevent some of us from knowing it even exist.

Yu tink se me dun but me na dun!

Very much do and believe women are far more predisposed to have those abilities. My healer who is a sister from my county has powers which are frightening its accuracy.

While reading New Scientist this month (one of the better issues) they mentioned that it was far from unproved and if anything the evidence thus far tilts slightly in favour of ESP... Methods to test it and theorys of the mechanics involved aren't around yet but I reckon that will come with time. For now all we have is annecdotal evidence which is usualy leaves me a sceptic but in this case... I'm undecided. I've never experienced or seen something to convince me but then I can't logically see why not.

I've never been able to grasp how birds in a flock move in unison and turn so quickly in patterns together nor fish in a shoal. It happens in microseconds, way to fast for the birds/fish to be watching the lead one for clues. I reckon somehow they already know what it's gonna do. To some extent we might have some variation of a similar abilty.

From a (speculatory)evolutionary perspective I wonder if it is an old trait which was made redundant bygrowing civilization in ancientlife or if it is a new thing brought on by closer group living and complex social structures we have now? The latter is more exciting to me perhaps because it can lead you to thinking perhaps we can get REAL good at it...

yep - without a doubt.

If the history of mankind is the history of evolution.....then why should we believe that our evolution has ended here with Homo Sapiens? We are still evolving and gaining new abilities. We are still becoming...

I no longer use the word coincidence to explain away things.

Lord have mercy as I live and breathe. DM aka The Watcher has seen the light. When I clicked onto this thread I braced myself to her what the African sceptic had to say because last time we reason on this my man was in the anti camp.

I slipped out of the thread because I was preparing for a new and senior post and I did not say on the thread what the healer told me and not suppose to either at that stage. My healer told me in such precise terms what was going to happen at each stage of the selection process. Told me why I would get the job and how it would come about.

Everyword to the letter she said was proven right.

That's empirical enough and her performance rate on specific issues is extremely accurate.

Hell yes.

We're not even using a quarter of our brain power. Our ancestors were on a much higher mental/spiritual plane and did things we probably wouldn't be able to comprehend today.

The Third Eye is more powerful than we imagine.

@ Fred

By nature I am a cynical sceptic yes, but a position of rigidly not believing anything is as stupid as gullibly believing everything. Also if one can't flex and change your opinions when new evidence or good arguments come to you then you're merely obstinate and unable to grow. I don't consider myself a stick-in-da-mud!
