Default Songs for a Youth Choir - 22-06-07, 05:17 AM

I'm a director of a youth choir. The children range in years 11 to 16. We sing mostly gospel music.

I want to teach faster songs, but I'm limited in my knowledge of artist and choirs.

I've been teaching songs by New Breed which is good but I want to find more songs.

Would someone have a suggestion?

You cant go wrong with Kirk Franklin, all his tunes have been sampled by youth choirs i.e. Hosanna, Hero, etc. Please also spend some time browsing through Sblizzy's thread "God says Yes "which has covered all the current gospel tracks. Other youth groups to look out for are Youthful Praise and Judah generation. GOOD LUCK
