Yep its a pity while more Africans from outside Africa are reclaiming their world view / ever more from the continent are bowing to a white Jesus/ or being Arabized.

Its disheartnening to say the least. Perhaps it will take another African from outside the continent to encourage Africans to resist cultural war.

The article misrepresented Rastafarism in one fact. It was not started by Marcus Garvey. Inspired but not started. As they describe him as American it can only lead you to read with caution anything said about African religion in the link. Not good at all. They should come better than that.

Will you be applying for the role?

I think the problem with Africans on the continent is one of inferiority complex and a desire for all things and beliefs western.

The Christian religon has reformed it'self beyond recogniztion over the last 500 hundred years.

And is still constantly being revised by academics and theologians.

It would be good it Africans Yoruba, Ga, Ashanti, Igbo , Bantu or otherwise did the same. Because at the same time Africans are flocking towards the Christian faith Westerners are becoming more and more Secularized.

I don't think the Chinese or Indians have an inferiority complex just because they have pushed their nations into a full modernisation program and a materialistic lifestyle so why should Africans?

Religion should always be relegated to the private sphere where it can't interfere with the free market. How can religion help Africa industrialise?

Have you ever heard of the term: " The Prostestant Work Ethic" ?

It's what Western Captialism has been built upon.
