Default Religion ... ? - 05-07-07, 08:11 PM

All these religions, posts on the site jesusing and bibling and quaraning and egypting, BY AFRICANS???? I was once a freek like most, waving and screaming hallelujahs but through some years I realised something else but thats not the point;

The thing with religion is (faith blah blah blah) in a 1000 years I bet Bob Marley will be worshiped by a LARGE population of the world, they will collect all the words he said and his songs and connect him with the bible, prophecies and all that. That's how these religions Africans are so captive to started. Its all the same with the jesus' and the Mohammeds and the rest of them, its all things misunderstood, used to manipulate others, used to make others inferior 'spiritually and mentally' and much more.

God is the only salvation, no man comes inbetween other men and God, God is the only salvation, God is the only light. Not hyprocrisy, not history and works of philosophers and visioneries and scribes that have been put on a pedestal and taken out of proportion.

For me I realised most if not all people worship not whole heartedly, without that faith they preach about, but they need religion to cope with daily life so they pray and dance and resite verses which have no light knowing in their hearts and souls that they do it only to keep afloat like a person visiting their shrink who they know has no answer for them. And as you get into religion more and more it demands you to submit your mind to it more and more like a drug until finally it dictates your life and you are conquered by it. You ... and I have been raised to know our bibles and holy books, and the soul and spirit must be saved ... but think about this as well, they say you are saving your souls but how can one save their soul if they do not know themselves, their spirituality, religion has not taught you and I to discover our spirit and be in union with God, it has not taught about the spirit but has targeted the mind. It is like a drug which becomes addictive, gives shortlived esctasy and solace but no eternal peace and rest.

religion is todays opium, some Africans have realised this, some have not.

Am I lying?

Are you so sure you have found the answers?
