It is true that princess di has been encapsulated as an eternal icon.
However, my dear don't totally discount the worship of ancestors -- if we as black folk gave libation and homage to our "own" ancestors rather than ignoring them -- our apparant struggles would be much minimal.
Truthfully every other culture, not race because there is only one race of human beings--worship their ancestors:
e.g.
The Chinese do this when they celebrate their Chinese New Year.
The Italians do this when they celebrate Columbus day.
The Haitians did it when they eliminated the French -- fact is, they are they only group of black folk that have overtly taken the European mole out of their backs!
So you see, I am not mad at the Europeans for honoring Princess Di, cause by doing so they are in a sense keeping her alive...!
